Does anyone know were I can get a cd of the WL music. I have a list and couldnt find all the songs to make a cd so I was wondering if anyone had a link or a cd they could send to me.

I would call the gift shop at the Wilderness Lodge. Most of the time, the resort gift shop is the best place to find resort specific information.

I liked the music a the WL as well....I allways wanted to get a copy of the "canned crickets" that they play between the bus stop and the main hall, allong that walkway.....soooooo relaxing.

You know, the last time we stayed there (maybe 5 years ago), the music was a conglomeration of various movie music, much of it from "The Last of the Mohicans <SP?>",... Daniel Day Lewis, roughly 1990's release. Great instrumentals, and matched the "Environment" really well....

You are correct. That is an awesome soundtrack.....

First - do you want the original loop or the revised loop? The first loop (IMO much better than the revised version) was replaced in the last year or so by a new version. Also there is a wilderness lodge christmas loop which is very good and makes seasonal appearances on my speakers in the winter months.

Second - you can find both in #Disney-Central (do a search for those terms on how to connect if you've never used IRC). You can find pretty much anything played on speakers at Disney-Central it's a great resource for ride audio, background loops, tribute videos and on ride videos.

As far as a CD, there is not one that is published. If you ask for it at the Wilderness Lodge Mercantile, they'll give you a photocopied list and tell you that because of licensing they can not produce a CD.

go to...

www.wdwresorttv.com

Follow the instructions. It takes a while to get used to, but it does pay off greatly. I have the wilderness lodge track and it is amazing. Completely flawless and over 1 hour long.

EDIT:

It seems like there aren't instructions there to follow. If you go to the digital media section you can probably ask for some help in there.

So it's not real crickets! I spent most of my vacation trying to convince my various family members that the sound effects were fake and none of them would believe me. lol

Yes, download it off #D-C. I listen to it all the time now, its a very well orchestrated BGM and quite a few catchy songs. Actually, its somewhat humorous a topic on the WL music came up. I was just listening to it on my way to school this morning.

I love BGM at WL!! I thought it was so funny when i asked for the CD and was given the music list instead. Obviously tons of people ( as I see here) love the music there too.

One of my favorite memories of WL is sitting out on the deck (we had a room overlooking the Villas' quiet pool), and listening to the music. Completely relaxing, and that was my alternative to a midday nap. :)
