Work began this morning replacing the outer covering on the four large "teepee" lights in the Wilderness Lodge lobby. The structure and shape of the lights will remain the same, but the outer covering is being replaced. The existing faux animal skin covering was so brittle, workmen were breaking off sections to expose the light's framework. They were also cleaning away years of dust from the lights. The design of the new outer covering was not revealed this morning. Only 1/4 of the lobby was closed by barricades, under this specific light. The remainder of the lobby was open.
