We love the WL and hopefully you will too! Try to grab a skillet breakfast at the Whispering Canyon and relax by the big fireplace (in one of those huge rockers) and sip something warm in the evening.

You're going to have an awesome time! The theming is excellent and to me it is the most relaxing resort of them all. One thing we like to to is grab breakfast at roarin' forks and bring it back to our room and eat it on our balcony, it can be very serene in the morning before everyone is up and busy.

actually the bus to MK is faster than the boat usually when you add in the time you're waiting on the dock and the fact that most people staying at WL use the boat over the bus...the bus seriously only takes about 5 mins once you board the bus.

just a thought... if you're at the park until closing or on a day when it's pretty crowded...or just if it's really cold out...chances are the bus back to the resort will be quicker and warmer!

that being said, I do enjoy riding the smaller open deck boats over to MK anyday!

The large boats to & from the MK to WL (and FW) are open in the front & back with an enclosed cabin in the center. We've ridden in all 3 spots...outside is great to ride at sunset.

This is such a wonderful resort. We stayed there in December '07 (it was our first time at a deluxe) and absolutely loved it. We had no problems with either the boats or the buses. We ended up using the boat more often than we though. It's a great way to pull up to the MK though!

OMG did I say buses... LOL Im sorry.
Well it sounds like we made the right choice.. we were going to try Animal Kingdom. But I loved the thought of being so close to MK...How I wish I was there... only 232 days to go LOL

Just think tomorrow it will be 231. Not to rub it in but I am 6 days to go. I can't wait, i just love the resort and Disney World.
