Wilderness Lodge Finally!!!

After 7 years in trying to get in at the Villa of Wilderness Lodge it finally happened for me:sohappy: and looking forward in exploring the grounds!!! Hopefully the much talk about ranger Stan is still there "hopeful"... so anybody else going to be there in the time frame of June 1- 5 ???

Regular WL guest... any must do and should not miss activity I need to know!!!

If I am not mistaken Stan retired. Enjoy your stay it is my favorite resort.

Stan has indeed retired, but he's been replaced by the equally fantastic Ranger Joe.

You will love staying at the Villas.
I find the Carolwood Pacific room and its outside balcony to be among the most relaxing spots in all of WDW!

I just got back and had a great trip. While I would not say i relaxed at all but I did have fun.

Parks were much busier than I was expecting. The resort was completely filled but the pools were really quiet. Had a great Breakfast at Whispering Canyon my friend ordered a soda for breakfast there and they gave him such a hard time and brought the soda in a gigantic Mason jar. At the end of park closing at MK the boats were going to both Wilderness Lodge and Fort Wilderness.
