So, there are three of us so called "adults" going to WDW in May and we are staying at Wilderness lodge-- has anyone ever requested the bunk beds and if so-- are they ok for a girl who is barely 5'0" and another who is 5'2"ish????

We have stayed a couple of times an gotten bunk beds. My bother's who are about 6'0 had no problems. They are normal size beds. Also, you can request but that does not mean you will get them.

Ok-- we were a little leary, but we figured we would try that. We were going to get a suite but it started getting a little pricey. So the bunk beds aren't so bad? I have stayed there a few times but we always end up in literally the same place. Does anyone have a recommendation of an area we should ask for-- room wise? We have a courtyard view, but like I said, we always end up in the same basic area.

Hi, shopgirl -

We stayed on the concierge floor at the Wilderness Lodge, and it was absolutely wonderful. Each day we enjoyed complimentary continental breakfast items, cheeses and crackers in the afternoons, and beverages. At night, if I remember correctly, there was also a fabulous dessert bar, which was quite rejuvenating after a long day in the parks. There was also a cast member stationed at all times near the elevators to answer questions.

The room, I believe, was not a suite, but it was slightly larger than a standard. We had bunkbeds, too, but I don't recall experiencing any difficulties (I'm about 5'4", and my sister is 5'7"...we alternated for ten days for the top bunk). The best part was when we came back from MK and found an autographed picture of Mickey and the fab five on the table. It was personalized and everything. Hope this helps!

Hey, that's great info to know! SHould I assume that the bunkbeds in the FW Cabins are the same size as the ones at WL and AKL?
