Well I just got back from NYC.

It was a long day. We got up at 3am and traveled to NYC from our home in south jersey. We then went to Time Square Studios Ltd. on Times Square to see Good Morning America being taped. We meet all of the GMA cast and the guest weather man, Tony Danza, and guest Jack Hanna. Then we walked towards Central Park South and stopped in Niketown and we walked in on a press conference with P Diddy announcing his Diddy Runs the City thingie and we got to see him. Then we ate a great lunch at Tavern on the Green. We then went to see some more stores and then got the m5 bus to NBC Studios to see Last Call with Carson Daily. There we saw Carson, Val Kilmer, and Rachel Sanchez (from Rush Hour 2). Then we rushed out before we could see Kill Hanna (local band from Chicago that just got signed with a record label). We then rushed to 46th Street to see Beauty and the Beast. After the show we rode the elevators at the Marriot Marquis hotel (gotta ride them to understand why!) and then had drinks at the View lounge on the 48th floor (it reloves and it has a great view of the enitre city).

I will try to post my pictures later tomorrow.

LOL, yes the tickets were free. Thank God for that, the show is horrible! No wonder it comes on at like 2:30am. I really wanted Conan tickets, but they were all out when i got there.

Now the elevators.... They are glass elevators and it reminds me of the tubes at the bank because you get "sucked up" the shaft real fast and can see the entire resort (the elevators (about 10 of them) make up the "core" of the resort) and on your way down you can see everything. Now if you go all the way to the 45th floor on those elevators and then comke back and stop on the 8th floor, and then let the doors close and stop on the 1st it feels like you are freefalling and gonna hit the bottom (like tower of terror). They are the coolest elevators. They even look like the bank tubes.

Conan is one of my heros!!!!!!!!! I love that man, he is my king of comedy, he is so talented!!!!! We got to see him last year when i was in NYC. This year we saw Carson as well, I like him too....maybe jhes not as funny, but he signed on for his 3rd year, so he's gotta be doing something right!!! Anyway, I'll agree about the cool elevators...I usually HATE elevators and take the stairs whenever possible, but not in NYC!!!! Have you ever been on the elevator at FAO Scwartz by chance? I think those are fun. Oh and did you get a chance to go to the 4 story Disney store???? I made my boyfriend go in that store with me for 2 hours!!! It's kinda like the World of Disney store Downtown Disney...but even bigger!! Anyway, we saw Beauty and the beast twice and LOVED it, did you like it? This year we saw Man of La Mancha and Forbbiden Braodway which was HILARIOUS! I have been in many of the shows they mock in Forbidden Broadway so it was just THAT much more hilarious and true!!!!!!! Fun fun, i love NYC, I am glad you had fun! :) :) :)

How old are you? 15? How did you get tickets to Last Call, or try to get them to Conan? I thought you had to be 16 years old...  :veryconfu

LOL, yes i am 15 but I look like i am like 17 or 18. On my last trip to Disney World I was handed the wine list on more then one time when I was dining alone with my friend Lauren. So places like NBC and the DIsney Behind the Scenes tour never ask for ID from me.

And AriBelle23, I have been to the Disney Store there and the one at ABC Studios at 67th and Columbus. I have photos of the big one on 5th Ave. I was upset to see the Coca-Cola store closed though.

How did you like Man of La Mancha? It is one of my favs!!! I saw it on B'way last May.

I gotta get around to posting the pics tonight!

Yup, I wasnt stopped once, not in the NBC Experience store or on the way to the taping.

GMA was much more fun though. NBC makes seeing a show an a$$ ache! First you have your blue stand-by ticket or e-mail confirm. Then you trade that for a yellow show ticket which you trade for a wrist band. You also go all over up and down in and out just to get to studio 8g or 8h depending on if SNL is taping.

Man of La Mancha was pretty good...it was different though from what I am used to or what I expected. I was more excited for a 42nd street kind of show with high paced dance numbers and beautiful love ballads...or an AIDA type show...but it was pretty good....their voices were AMAZING!!!! I was with my boyfriend, his mom, and grandma and the ladies loved it! My fav is still Forbidden Broadway of course :) ...also the Disney Store on 5th Ave is my all time favorite ever! ...oh and can I ask why you didn't like Carson? Just curious on your views :)

If you like the fast paced dance number and Billy Joel music go see movin' out. It was great. But make sure to read the synopsis first or you might get lost.

It wasnt that I didnt liek Carson. I just didnt like the format of the show. I was also going for the technical aspect more then anything. I wanted some ideas for our school's local cable access show. Carson was good and it was a bit funny. And I enjoied seeing the girl from Rush Hour 2 (i think her name is Rachel or Rosylin Sanchez {I know i botched it in my first post!}).
