Polar Bears for Zoological institutions are very hard to come by these days. Polar Bears are not very successful at breeding in captivity, and their short life span of 16 - 20 years really gives you a short window with any animal.

I actually saw a polar bear at SeaWorld two days after its death was (sadly) announced.
