Only in certain lobbies (not rooms) and yes, for a fee.But it is at the resorts, and I do believe there is a fee.
Disney didn't make the app, why would they invest in the infrastructure to accommodate it? :shrug:i think that wifi should be available in the parks because there are apps for the iphone and ipod that give you up to date wait times and park hours. I like to look at them even though im not at WDW but having this info with me while im there would be very handy. After all, isn't using that app while at the park is what its made for?
i have the itouch so I access the net over wifi.

Because there is money to be made off of it. Also the fee to use the wifi in the resorts is crazy, 10 dollars a day is crazy. When I went down last december I had to have internet access everyday for work for only about a half hour and I had to pay 100 dollars to use it, absurd.
I know disney didn't make the app. But it was made for the purpose to use it in the parks.
I just don't know why an app would be made in the first place if you can't use it.
it is cool to look at from home though. :]
