On Saturday I put in the Cinderella II video for my four year old. Before the video was the commercial for Disney World talking about the 100 year anniversary and the theme was making your dreams come true. Well after the commercial ended my daughter looks up at me with the pure innocence of a child and says "Mommy my dream is going to come true." I got teary at that moment and still do as I think of it now. We're going to Disney to give our kids the experience of Disney. Whether I get to ride all the rides or not doesn't matter. That my kids will get to see the Disney characters they love so much in person will make the trip for me. To borrow from a commercial: Plane fare to Disney--$1,000. Tickets and hotel-- $1,300, Food, etc.--$1,200, Seeing my daughters meeting Cinderella--PRICELESS!!
