Spring break. I work in customer service and the entire state of Florida is horrdenous in March. I wish I could go on a month long vacation just to get away from it.

Wow, I was looking at wait times last night and could not believe how crowded it was. Sounds more like an Easter break. After the Winter we had, Floriday sounds good, but glad we are waiting til October. Hope everyone there enjoys their trip.

Usually around this time a lot of New Jersey High Schools have their senior trips to WDW. My high school just got back on Sunday, and I remember when I went several years ago there was three other high school class trips there too. We took up almost all of the All Star resorts.

I believe it's because...Now now..hear me out..I think it's when these younger people get off for some certain reason...I think it's some kind of a break or something....It happens around that time when that Snow covered stuff starts melting and everyone escapes to certain destinations for some relief of everyday stuff....I think it's called... Super Day of doing stuff but, doing it for a week.....Yeahhhh...
Hmm I never went anywhere spring break but then again manhatten is a fun place. Can I say if I had as a college guy I can see the beach or nola as my place to be! Kids today....

Yep, Spring Break. We were at the MK on 3/23 and it was very manageable in the AM, packed by mid-late afternoon. Epcot was pretty busy on the 24th but didn't feel as crowded due to the size of the park. We asked for a late check out...a whole 1 hour later at CBR and were denied as they are 100% booked and needed to turnaround the rooms quickly.

We were at Atlantis Resort a few days before and it was clearly Spring Break there. Every boarding school 16 year old (with their 18 yr old fake ID) was in that place. Crazy how young these kids are, drinking heavily and gambling. All on mommy and daddy's dime, just put on a plan with a wad of cash and told to go have fun.

Easter is VERY late this year, therefore spring break(s) last forever! Two weeks ago Florida colleges were on break and it was busy. This week most high schools in FL are on spring break and it's really busy. The take away for future planning? Two things, how late is Easter and how bad was the winter up north. Otherwise, just figure March and April are going to be busy.

I thought I avoided all the crowds last year by going a few weeks after Easter, but watch out! New England has some sort of in-service week or something where all their schools are out for several days and it was about 2 weeks after Easter, crowds were not horrid but not ideal either.

So is it pretty safe to say the first week of May should be manageable (as far as crowds go)? I've been a little nervous since 7DMT is rumored to be opening during our trip. This will be daughter's first time visiting WDW (and mine as a parent), so I'm hoping lines won't be formidable.

I hate to break it to everyone, but the weather's been pretty crappy down here recently too, this weekend isn't looking to be any better...so while it may be busy, it's just not that warm...

Spring break goes on the entire month of march. Different weeks for everyone in the entire country so March isn't the time to go if you want to avoid the crowds.
