Why of they have fireworks and fountains on the same barge?

I always wondered why they just didn't install permanent fountains in the lake then have the fireworks on a smaller barge that isn't as much of an eye sour. Then they can ditch the generators. I always thought they put more work into that show then they had to not to mention the cost of fueling that show when they can charge batteries to launch the fireworks, docking those big barges and having to power them when they can have fountains all ready out in the water and smaller barges that are easier to dock.

When I saw the title of this post all I thought of was The Sheriff of Nottingham in Robin Hood Men In Tights....

I'm assuming you're on about Reflections of Earth again?

Not exactly news nor rumour is it?
No, I but I was always a little baffled on why they would make barges for the fountains when they could install permanent ones. Especially back then when the mist screens were pretty much right next to the pyro deck.

Because they already had fountain barges?
Besides my last minute thread I started that turned out to be pretty botched up I just thought it was a dumb idea to have fountains on the same barge as fireworks, especially the fact that they would get wet or at least plug thru water on windy nights. And how in the world do they keep them dry and cover them up without a getting stuck int he launcher tubes
