Why not offer more shade?

Recently posted about saving places at the resort pools because people are looking for shade in the heat of the summer.

This begs the question why don't resorts offer more shade. At Poly there were less than 10 umbrellas pool side. Similar situation at AKL. Would a few more umbrellas really upset the sunbathers?

The heat index was well over 100 the entire 12 days I was there in August, even in shade we were purchasing MANY cool drinks!

One of my biggest gripes is that the Pop Century bus stops don't have any shade. When they built Art of Animation, the put shade over the bus stops. It's been a few years now, and it wouldn't cost much... do it, Disney!
