Why no Bambi in any of the Disney Parks?

Should Bambi be represented in the Disney Parks?

A Bugs Life is also The Three Amigos. Remember that film with Chevy Chase, Martin Short, & Steve Martin? It's about three actors who are mistaken to be actual warriors. They are brought in to protect a village from an evil gang of thugs. It is later discovered that they are not real warriors, but only actors. Yet they still come together with the town's people to fight off the bad guys. Does anybody else hear A Bug's Life in this?

Well there you go.

If you notice, the films and characters that are typically represented over and over again have a strong musical score to back them up. Bambi didn't. Disney Creative works off the concept that you may love the characters, but the music is usually what really tugs at your heart strings.

Bambi and Jungle book and Tarzan need to be at AK!

I agree...in fact, that could make a heck of a dark ride for AK. It would have a "Disney's Many Animal Kingdoms" theme, and it could be made up of deep forest and open savannah and tangled jungles filled with the Disney characters that inhabit them. Maybe guests could ride through it on boats. They'd pass a waterfall...and there would be Pocahontas, singing "Colors of the Wind". They'd turn a corner and find themselves in deep forest with Bambi and Thumper; perhaps there could be a mock rainstorm, with the song "Little April Shower" playing in the background. Then the woods would subtly change into a jungle, and there the guests would encounter Baloo, Bagheera, Mowgli, Kaa and Shere Khan. Tarzan's call would ring out, and the guests would be surrounded by great apes, Tarzan, Jane and other creatures singing the "Trashin' the Camp" song. Then the boats would make a final turn around some trees, and suddenly come upon open savannah, with the Pride Lands and Pride Rock. Scar would snarl as guests rode by his lair, and then they'd come upon a huge set filled with wildlife as baby Simba is presented to the Lion King's subjects and "The Circle Of Life" is sung. And there the ride would end.

If AK had a ride like THAT, you couldn't keep me away from the place. As it is, I've skipped visiting AK the last two times I vacationed at WDW. And Avatar would make no dent in my indifference. If anything, it'd encourage me to stay away.

Do you feel that Bambi deserves recognition in any of the Disney Parks? It's the only classic animated film made during Walt's lifetime that is not represented in any Disney Park (to my knowledge). If I am wrong please let me know.

Before anyone starts in on how Bambi's mother was killed and its too sad, etc look no farther than The Lion King. Basically it's the same plot but with Lions. I know that some will begin to point out the differences between the two films but they are extremely similar.

Question is- Do you feel that Bambi deserves a place in the Parks?
OH YES. We have both on dvd. At least put Bambi in a parade.

.

I would definitely go on that ride.

If they had Bambi in the parks they would have to have an oversize Bambi with one guy as the front and head and another as the butt and the body, I don't think that would go so well.

I think if they put Bambi anywhere, he should go into the AK. But anything Bambi would have to be brief. I just don't see a whole Bambi ride. I like Bambi but I don't think we need him in the parks.

Like a pp said, he does have a topiary every year at F&G. I love that. :)

I thought so!! So Bambii - at least the movie- IS represented in the parks already!

Despite how random it is to have her and not Thumper or one of the other main characters (*ahem* Bambii...)
