Why is Pinocchio missing from park and Disney?

The Pinocchio dark rides in DL and DLP aren't the best of the bunch. Fun enough, to be sure, but not as good as Snow, Toad, Pan. I think they couldn't really decide on an interesting angle and went for retelling the entire story - a mistake they repeated with Mermaid, which is also fine but a bit bland.

Not that modern Disney is even remotely interested in any non-merchandisable IP...

From a money-making standpoint, adjusted for inflation, Disney's top film after Snow White is 101 Dalmatians.

Hmm...well the whole box office vs critical opinion makes for a long running argument....I've personally never been that big on Snow White....of course I do realize it made Disney (World)...I just find Pinnochio to be more of masterpiece almost tied to the great peter pan mythos....

But anyway...I never knew that about Dalmations being so $$$ beneficial for Disney, although I'm not surprised considering its quality

They are also out a lot of times during RunDisney races that have a route through Epcot. Usually in Italy. The most recent was this past Feb but I've seen them out in the past few years too I believe…might have even been in Magic Kingdom. Jiminy Cricket has definitely been out near Animal Kingdom during the full marathon.

I think you posted this on disboards too...but Pinocchio and Jiminy both appear in the Festival of Fantasy parade, Pinocchio is actually riding on a giant Monstro the whale, there's a whole Pinocchio unit with two floats in the Main Street Electrical Parade, a restaurant in Fantasyland, Pinocchio and Gepetto both appear in Fantasmic and there's a whole segment on the water screens dedicated to Monstro, Jiminy narrates Wishes, and this is all just at WDW. Far more representation than a lot of films get.

Yes
In Tokyo Disneyland, besides the Fantasyland ride, the characters Gepetto, Jiminy Cricket, Honest John, Gideon, and Pinocchio himself are all fairly common.

Which should have been added as part of the FLE in WDW (would have been exactly what Storybook Circus needed to help round it out).
Imagine a replica of the village from the film complete with an AA Figaro...

If that was ever thought up, then this would be a easier place to find Pinocchio,Geghetto,Gideon,Foufellow, and Jiminy at MK.
