Why is it so-called Tower Of Terror 4??

So i was just watching a Disney world advert ( coz im all excited about going away in a week or so!) and it was an advert about ToT, but it said its ToT 4?? what's the reason for this,

i was thinking maybe its got something to do with the amount of times they drop you but the advert basically says its random? So it doesn't really make sense, And Im sure one of you Disneyholics will be able to tell me!!

I'm pretty sure that its to do with the software that creates the random drop sequences - the 4th version

I believe that it is called ToT4 because the attraction has been modified four times, making this version 4.0. I believe that's the reason, and I'm sure that others could elaborate on this...

If it ain't broke don't fix it. I love this version...but I'm sure they'll come up with a 5.0 version the next time they want to boost park attendence.

Nope, they can definitely do more - more drop sequences (there are four right now), new sound effects, new effects in general. It might happen in the next few years.

Sorry to disagree, but the ToT4 is from their adoption of 4 drop profiles.
They say "random drop sequences" but that really means that you will randomly get one of the 4 drop sequences, not that the Tower makes up how you will drop on the fly.

You are right about the four sequences and how they are chosen, but that is not why its called ToT4. They don't advertise that there are four sequences because they want everyone to think it really is different each time. The average guest really won't notice if they get the same ride sequence twice, unless they ride it over and over.

It is called ToT4 because this is the 4th official modification to the ride.

When it first opened it was simply 1 drop,and while still exciting many people would leave the ride saying"that's it",what they've done with it is great,but I think for sure that there's more they can do to it.I've heard random rumors of new effects being tried,so it's probably something they're working on as we speak.
