Why is Indiana Jones' intensity so inconsistent?

The dart room warriors are three dimensional at Disney Sea.
I imagine that does look better, but if I could change only one of the two my vote has been cast. Every time I ride I just can't unsee the painting that is supposed to convince me the caves go on and on.

There have been times the ride felt much less intense to me. At first I thought it might be that a sensor didn't trip, so a specific motion didn't trigger.

However, there have been times that a scene did trigger (like the boulder) and the car didn't react. It makes me wonder how much of the vehicle mechanics have to stop functioning before they pull the vehicle from the attraction during operations. I wonder if there is an "alt" mode if one of the motion mechanisms stops working on a vehicle. Not sure how many backup vehicles they have to keep the ride running at capacity.

Was watching Youtube videos... this one popped up in my recommended.

Lots to take in here. To start- people area actually waiting inside the themed queue.

An extended safety video with clips I've never seen and different voice work for Sallah- sounds far more ominous in this version. Additional lines on the vehicles that I've never heard- now he always says "Brakes may be needing a little adjustment, easy on the curves", in this one he says " Go easy easy easy, the wheels may be needing a little work"

It's got the proper Mara voice work. Indy says lines I've never heard.

Forget the long lost ice effect- I'd love for Disney to actually get some of these lines back into the ride.

I wish we had the fireball effect instead of the projected rats.
