They can if called upon and I was told that because the rides have not been running good change they will be asked to assist.

My friend who let me know about inspectors being recalled said the would indeed if required to help they can and have before. I am just passing along the information for someone with direct knowledge.

They can certainly help with building inspections, fire safety, alarms, elevators, and other things they are qualified for.
