Hi there !

My girlfriend is for 2 weeks at WDW, and she wonders why the suspended decorations in Main Street been removed. They appears on some videos at the beginning of the christmas season, but they have been removed since.
Any answer about this ?

Thank you !

Yeah I went down a few years ago and one day the Garland was up and the next it was gone. But I knew the parade would be filming soon.

Actually as of Friday everything was back to normal with the garland returned and the Christmas tree back in it's rightful place in Town Square.

Hi !

My girlfriend phoned me today, she had not noticed that the tree was back at Town Square (certainly because she is used to see the christmas tree there at DLP ) lol, but the tree has come back in Town square.

The Flagpole did? That would make sense. I really should pay more attention while to Town Square and get away from the lights on the Castle.

Thanks.

I took my mom to her first MVMCP on Nov 30. I booked months in advance and didn't know that the parade taping would occur that weekend (guessed it would be the following w/e). We were disappointed that the garlands had been taken down and the town square decorations were walled off with plants.

We went to guest relations to provide feedback (politely stated our disappointment in the reduced decorations during the party) and we were immediately offered a refund for our tickets and offered complementary tickets for that night or any other night of our choosing.

Since we wanted our feedback to be taken seriously and not written off with quick guest recovery, we declined the free tickets and repeated that we would appreciate it if our feedback would be shared with the appropriate leaders.

We went to the party and had a great time. My mom loved the parade, shows and the snow. She thought that the fireworks were too loud :hammer:. The cookies and hot chocolate were excellent (we had 2 each).
