I think around that time they didn't care..Also just found this pic...Turns out they did infact use that version of Goofy in Disneyland..

I love how Goofy and the (creepy) clown are staring at each other awkwardly. xD

Huh. Disney's pretty strict now as far as keeping the magic alive goes. If that were filmed now, they probably wouldn't have allowed it. (I'm not saying Disney's strictness is a bad thing.)
