Why doesnt the Theater of the Star face the other way?

stupid question, but looking at the TotS on google maps, it seems like rotating the stage/seating area 180 degrees would put the seats less far away and could be disguised as building in AC, and the backstage area would be outside of the park so you wouldnt need all that space for Backstage and could use that for something pretty cool as well as keeping pyro and affects happening on stage further from disrupting AC.

Well, back before DLP received any investment, its entrance was roughly to the right of what is now Avengers Flight Force when it was Rock and Roller Coaster as part of the "Backlot", which yes did actually look like a studio's parking lot...

and they needed all that space, so the cars had room to perform their stunts safely away from the audience 😂

The Alice show and rebranding to the Theatre of the Stars is purely to use the space while other parts of the park are developed, without spending too much money on something that will go away relatively soon.

And how much would that cost for a temporary set up?
