Why does Snow White get Gyped?

I was listening to my DL 50 CD w/ Fantasmic on it and was reminded of this today. We always joke when we see the show that Snow White gets the short end of the stick when her raft floats by.

First Belle gets about 45 seconds for Beauty and the Beast.

Next Ariel gets about 45 seconds for Part of your World.

Then comes Snow White. The foundation for which all princesses are built on. Instead of getting her own singing time to work with, she sputters out 2 lines. "Some day my prince will come, Some day I'll find someone".

Then that "Harlot" Belle cuts in and adds another 15 seconds of her song.

Poor girl starts the whole thing for the Disney Princesses and gets dumped aside for the show stealer.

It's not like you can't just see Belle an hour earlier at the theater next door?

I vote for Equal Princess Rights. It's so political to be a princess these days. Remindes me of the Equal Time laws where TV/Radio stations are required to sell equal time to both sides of political issues and candidates during election times.

I think it's just because she's so old, that people just don't watch the movie anymore, thus, the marketability isn't there. For example, my girlfriend had never seen Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs until I made her watch it about a year ago. Sad, I know. But more people today are just more familiar with Belle and Ariel than Snow White unfortunately. :shrug:

I love Snow White but I can't help but laugh when I think about it because the pastor at the church I used to go to used to give sermans about how Snow White for a hoochie for living with 7 men, lol. Completely serious! :hammer:
