Why do people hate on the Wish?

Everything too numerous to list.
No buffet in the clubs at night, no adults only zones, cramped decks, no inclusive pastries in the coffee shops, no amazing running deck, the list is a mile long, endless.

No old cruise liner atmosphere with a view of the ocean from just about every outside deck and windows facing outside,, no numerous and convenient located elevator banks,,, no longer themed costumes on many of the entertainment crew, just plain Six Flags Ride operator uniforms. Slow loading, 2 and a half hours wait long line water rides that accommodate under 80 riders an hour.

So many others gone that made DCL unique and worth the extra expense - I'll digress.

Cattle boat like all the rest but still better than Carnibrawl.

I wouldn’t exactly call most of those things unique items that Disney brought to cruising. I would certainly agree that the club buffet and cafe pastries are a big lose. But there are other things the Wish offers that the other ships don’t.

I’m not sure what you’re referring to as six flags uniforms. The entertainment cast onboard wear the same or similar costumes as the rest of the fleet.

Yes there are only two elevator banks instead of three. But there are 16 elevators instead of 12/14

Anecdotally, it seems to me that people who started cruising Disney with the first generation of ships feel the new design is far less enjoyable (although Wish seems to get more criticism than Treasure). The reverse is not true - people who started off with the newer ships seem to feel more open to any ship in the fleet. Not sure what to make of that.

I sailed it twice and I am not a fan. Too much of a Princess vibe for me. My favorite has always been the Dream, until I went on the Treasure. I love the larger ships!
