Why did Disney Quest Fail ?

The rise of mobile gaming completely killed Disney Quest. Disney Quest was a glorified arcade, which at the time, was great. But now we have mario and angry birds and pokemon on our phones. We don't need to shell out a kidney stone in order to play games, when the games are in our pockets.

DisneyQuest was abandoned by corporate and most guests long before the rise of smartphones.

As @MrConbon pointed out, DisneyQuest failed because Disney wasn't willing to put in the work. If you open an arcade and pay attention to what kids and adults can't do on their home consoles and constantly update your offerings... you end up making money.

I heard that a company built something similar in Toronto I wonder if it stands a chance ?

Do you mean Palladium? There's no cover to get in, you just pay for the machines and such.

As someone who lives hundreds of miles away from WDW and doesn't always have the financial means or time available to travel to Orlando frequently or get involved with DVC, going to Disney Springs, let alone Disney Quest ranks real low on my things I have to do while I am there list. Especially if I am also trying to go to Universal and Sea World on the same trip. Its so low in fact, I've never been. I know Disney Springs is open to more than just out of town tourists but I've gotta believe they were counting on people like me being a significant factor in attendance.
