Why did a mod take off a thread I started about my Cats ?

I posted a thread about my Cats in the Chit-Chat forum and a mod took it off ? I don't see why it was taken off ? There was nothing wrong with my post. Is there now a rule that we can't talk about are Pets on the boards ?
