Why DCA should be rebranded as Fox Studios California

well good news is that FOX news is not part of the deal so you can scratch that off the list.

Well, since I was talking about the "Fox Corporation", aka the New Fox, yes it is. After selling stuff to Disney, Rupert Murdoch has PLENTY of money to buy/build Theme Parks!

>The massive price tag ensures Disney will seed the Fox franchises into the parks to recoup the investment and build synergies between the big Hollywood brands.

Disney didn’t buy the Fox titles to tuck them away in a vault. It may take time, but Disney will find ways to integrate Fox’s lineup of well-known characters into the family and eventually into the parks. Disney has plenty of experience incorporating outsider brands into its parks with Indiana Jones, Pixar, Marvel, Avatar and Star Wars.

Rest assured that Walt Disney Imagineering is already dreaming up attractions, lands and even entire theme parks based on the Fox properties. Expect talk of a third gate at Disneyland and a fifth gate at Walt Disney World to begin percolating again.<<

Much more at the link.

Not much more.

This is the same fan theory stuff you can find all over this forum and elsewhere. Just because it was published in a newspaper doesn't make it more authoritative especially since the ""reporter"" did not contact Disney or any inside source but is just speculating.

The ""newspaper"" that printed some fanboy's musing should feel deep shame.

Disney got rid of their association with Narnia and Alien... so, they're suddenly going to try to bring them back to the parks? This guy is high.

How ‘bout this scenario: Disney buys Six Flags, sells the least profitable parks for real estate value, and cheaply modifies the remainder into lightly-themed Fox IP parks.

Disney presents: Fox Mountain
