Why bash attraction CMs?

I was just checking up on the alien pettion and found this

To you Tomorrowland Ops CMer, Who will probably get fired for creating this website. You work an 8 hour day for minimum wage pushing start/stop buttons. You know that at any moment you could be transferred to The Country Bear Jamboree and leave Tomorrow behind. You make that $6.15 an hour and still turn your nose up towards Tomorrowland Merchandise and Quick Food Cast Members in the Utillidor. Keep thinking this petition may work. Your a real American Hero

What is your problem? I will not get fired for te site I don't work 8 hrs a day for min wage. I work 12 hrs a week for 6.35 an hour and then I work 8 hours a day making 7 $ at a Subway near my home. I am not a full time cast member but let me asure the writier of this and if any of you know them make sure they get this message. I started my disney career at a hot dog wagon in frontier land. I had plenty of friends in t-land attrations. It was my favorite land in the park and still is. I never turn my nose up to merc, or food. And I will always be in t-land. I am nice to everyone I pass in the utilidor and I reall do not like seing this.

If you are jealous, and want to, there is nothing stopping you all from making a quick food site or merchindise. Alien encouter was the first attration I ever experienced at Disney and Now my dream has come true I get to work there. I have 3 jobs here in orlando and Granted If i didn't have friends at disney I would probably quit. I am just mad that you have to make tha comment.

I know you ar at this site and frankly I don't care that you may work in food. and make 1.25 more than I do for 2 days work.

PS. I try to be nice to everyone in the utillidor but I have never gotten a smile from anyone. One time I was hurt and a lady helped me and i asked her why she was helping me and she said "because your were the onely persone who ever smiled at me in the tunnels" make you think. Maybe merch should be thankfull that we give them guests ever 10 min. and Food should be happy that we give them diversions.

I know I don't have anything to do with this, but during my brief 2 month time as a CM, I found people were rather nice in the tunnels. Especially characters... They could be rude or just ignore me after they realized I was looking at them in awe at the cafeteria line ("Man, Peter Pan is having LUNCH with me!!"), but sometimes they'd even strike a conversation.
All in all, I guess it's how you treat people and what kinda of a mood they're in on that particular day. :wave:

Well I also think there are tunnels in Epcot, but only in the World Showcase section I believe.

The Utilidors are a system of tunnels under the Magic Kingdom. Actually the Utilidors are considered the first level of the Magic Kingdom. The park its self is considered the second level. Therefore the tunnels aren't really underground, they are just under the Magic Kingdom. The Utilidors consist of many storage rooms, cafeterias, etc. There is one tunnel under Epcot. It stretches from one side of Future World to the other. However it is nothing like the Utilidor System in Magic Kingdom. Click below for a map of the Utilidors! Utilidor Map

There are tunnels in FW at Epcot. There isn't much there besides a cafeteria. They aren't used as passageways to get to different areas like MK though.

I never knew about a caste system of CMs like "ATTRACTION" CMs and the "MERC" and "FOOD" CMs?

Where do the water park CMs fit in? And resort CMs?

And MONORAIL DRIVERs?

Are you allowed to date or marry CMs in a level above or below yours?



For me the best CMs are the ones that make me smile, and by that standard I notice no difference between CMs in the above categories. The superior ones are scattered everywhere.

I agree with you there, except you left out one thing: Lead by a group of emotionally and intellectually challenged, ego driven individuals, affectionately known as: management. :brick:

Anyways, to Catherine: Don't know too much about what you're saying cuz I'm entertainment, but I always smile in the tunnel I love all my fellow cast members provided they don't b*tch at me first, LOL!
