Why are rooms that have king sized beds more expensive than the standard rooms with two double beds at the value and moderate resorts? I know this isn't a concern at the deluxe resorts that offer queen beds.
My husband and I are going to DW in April. Do you mean if I request a King size bed, we'll be charged extra? Is that considered a preferred room? Even if I request a room at Pop Century in the 70's building for a king bed?
They will not charge you more, however most of the king bedded rooms are handicapped rooms that sometimes connect to a room with twin beds. If they give you the room and then need it for a handicapped person you might be asked to change rooms. Some people also do not want to be in a handicapped room....best suggestion if you really want a king bedded room...go to moderate resort and pay the difference for a guaranteed king bedded room.
