Whose second favorite park is Typhoon Lagoon?

Always my favorite after Epcot, I’ll skip the Magic Kingdom for it

It's a tie? MK, then AK-TL. Then again, I have stated on multiple occasions that Typhoon Lagoon is my favorite place ever. So maybe it's actually my favorite park. I love it so much it I can't even think straight.

I'll tell you my dirty little secret.... I've never been to either water park.

Love the Disney Waterparks...just wish they’d get more love...no new rides for Blizzard ever, and Typhoon gets one what...every 10-15 years? Sheesh. Two of the busiest water parks in the world and they can’t even spend a few million now and then to add to them?

Less obvious things I love about Typhoon Lagoon:

-The surf rock/exotica background music

-The way the sound of the wave generator "whoosh" is immediately followed by a large collective scream of excitement/terror from the crowds.

I love TL. After walking, what 8-10 miles, a day for several days, there's no better thing to do than lay in a tube in the lazy river. I cannot emphasize enough how awesome it is to get from waterslide to waterslide by means of a lazy river tube. Also, the feeling of being completely submerged in the wave pool under a gigantic wave... it.is.so.awesome!

That's an oddly specific question. More of an announcement really.

That being said, I have so many water parks where I live, I never thought to visit Typhoon Lagoon. I'll have to up that on my priority list.

Typhoon is for sure the best water park I have ever been to, but yeah, I have to admit I have been on these boards a decade and I have never seen someone put it 2nd even ahead of Magic Kingdom. I love water parks, but I don't think one can ever beat an actual theme park at Disney. Granted Typhoon is epic, it has everything you'd want. Excellent theming to the point where you forget you are at a water park, that incredible lazy river, what does it take, like 12-15 minutes to get around just once? The wave pool that will knock all grown men down of all different sizes in a heartbeat. Then the slides. It has it all.

We used to go to Water Mania in Orlando, does anyone remember that? I loved it there. We always went to that one and not Wet N' Wild when it was around. But once I went to Typhoon the first time it was just like "Yeah, Disney even does THAT better than anyone else."
