My college gets KTLA, and they've got coverage going on right now of the anniversary ceremony. So far, I've been impressed. *OH MY GOSH!!!!! They're doing a live re-creation of the teaser commercial from the Rose Bowl, complete with motorcycle riding Stitch!*

They've also had Art Linkletter and Michael Eisner give remarks, and they just did the reveal of the entrance to the castle, along with pretty much every single Disney character imaginable.

Unfortunately, my VCR likes to eat tapes, and in fact, there's one stuck in there now, so I couldn't tape it. Mouseplanet.com says it'll have a video up by this evening.

I was in the front row of park guests (behind the media) and OMG, seeing Art Linkletter come in, I started screaming. And seeing Julie Andrews in person was absolutely amazing...

It was the greatest feeling ever! They said something about introducing the man who was here 50 years ago and all of us started going, "Oh, my God, it's Art Linkletter..." I was awestruck! And Julie Andrews was absolutely amazing. Just having been there and being able to say I saw both of them at Disneyland... it's like being in the presence of Disney history and greatness. :)
