Universal was still a well themed park back then, ignoring the lack of things to do other than the tram tour.

Although i hope you realize i was referring to 2001 uni in hollywood. but plastic cities and one actually themed land doesnt even compare

Yeah, USH was a bad park back then. Alas, it has grown and evolved into an improved theme park experience.

I'm not sure what the heck they were thinking when they put 3-D into the ride. It's perfectly fine without it.

I will only be honestly impressed with universal if they create a truly immersive ride with NO screens.

Dinosaur has an immersive theme, sure, but you can't really get into the splendor of the visuals since it's so dark in the ride.

im not sure about you, but i find it much more fast paced, well told (Story wise), and well themed. Even though its mostly dark, it did a better job at impressing me. Tall drops dont win every war
