Me!!!! This is my second CP, so you'd think I'd know better but still, I'm packing too much. I'll be there until at least January and knowing me I'll extend just like I did last time. I can't imagine living somewhere like that for so long without a lot of homey touches. My first roommates laughed at me because I packed posters and picture frames and a pretty bedspread, I actually had things decorated. But after two weeks of a plain apartment they were at wal-mart buying couch covers and posters for the living room! Anyway, I like being prepared. I'm super excited about my pink Chip'n'Dale bathroom mat!

Me too! I just got the delightful task of sifting through the contents of my childhood bedroom (My parents are turning it into a playroom for my sister when I move out 
) and deciding what to throw out, what to box up, and what I'm taking to Disney. I have alot of crap that I can't possibly think of living without, and I was getting a little worried...after your post, I feel better :-D
And yeah, I must have decorations, I mean, come ON, this is HOME for at least half a year!
Question: Can we put tacks in the wall? Because I have this amazing, huge Pirates banner from my old job (Worked at a movie theater) and well as this cool, giant rearview mirror thing promoting Cars (also from Work) that will need tacks to be put up. And I would love to bring them and Disneyfy my half of the room, haha

Yeah, tacks are fine. But just don't use the gummy stuff. It ruins the walls.

The movie posters sound like a great idea. My roomie has a lot of Disney posters up in our room. It makes the room a lot brighter.
Yeah, they don't mind tacks for hanging posters and big things but they don't want you to tack everything on the wall, like a bunch of little snapshots or anything. I brought a bulletin board for all my little pictures and mementos. I actually framed my nice posters in those plastic poster frames which were nailed to the wall. That way I didn't get holes in my posters.
