Whole 'nother Disneyland from me...

As you may have known, I've done two Disneyland park threads before, having done much of the work on Disney Mall and my own park, Disneyland Marceline. I was thinking of just doing a random make a Disneyland park thread, but some of the ideas I got were way too cool, such as a alternate Alien Encounter or a unique Tom Sawyer raft ride, acting as both transport to the island and a close up tour of the Rivers of America. So I'll be posting the park as a new project.

NOTE: Just in case of confusion, the lands are listed counterclockwise from Main Street. Adventureland's sub areas are in order from when you enter Adventureland from the hub.

Main Street USA

Attractions:
Disneyland "insert location here" Railroad(Includes looks into Fire Mountain,Pirates of the Caribbean, Splash Mountain, the Grand Canyon diorama[now with animatronic animals], and the Tommorowland Time Tunnel featuring Primeval World[like the Disneyland diorama, but with more up to date dinosaurs appearing on both sides of the train, the same as the Grand Canyon])
Haunted Mansion (New exterior design considering its location. The ride is located up Main Street a bit and to the right in it's own little area. The story of this version is that the house once belonged to one of the earlier mayors of the town, who held a big wedding party in honor of his daughter's marriage, coming up to a total of 999 attendees. The town medium Madame Leota was concerned and feared that disaster would strike the party which indeed did happen as the groom was killed by a mysterious man only known as the Phantom. The Phantom cursed the house and everyone inside or within the mansion's grounds were trapped)
Walt Disney: One Man's Dream
Main Street Transports
Main Street Cinema

Shops:
The Emporium
Magic Shop
Main Street Athletic Club

Restaurants:
Main Street Bakery & Ice Cream Parlor
Plaza Pavillion
Walt's
Crystal Palace

Tommorowland
Attractions:
The Flying Saucers (Indoors and to the left from the entrance to Tommorowland. Has a large spaceship on the roof)

Buzz Lightyear Astro-Blasters(Also near the entrance and on the right side, has a barker alien encouraging guests to help in the fight against Zurg. There is a sign above the Peoplemover tunnel entrance saying "Star Command HQ")

Timekeeper (Has a replica Clock of the Future either at the entrance or atop the building where it would rotate. Next to Astroblasters)

Alien Encounter (Completely re-imagined as a tour of XS Tech's labs in Tommorowland where the demonstration of teleportation actually itends you to be put in danger by pitting Stitch and the AE Alien in mortal combat against each other. Soon they stop fighting and then the scientists try to destroy the friendly aliens and the audience and both try and help you escape and you are pursued by X-S Tech agents as you try getting out of the scientific facilities but the alien and Stitch manage to work together to defeat them with a bit of your help as well and you exit to Cosmic Ray's via a laboratory "emergency exit". The audio in the attraction would use pinpoint sound technology for the fight in darkness, while we'd have the usual speakers for the XS Tech staff. Think of the attraction as something more like Poseidon's Fury at IOA then the original. Has a big sign on the top advertising tours of XS Tech. Next to Flying Saucers)

Space Mountain(The Moonliner is right next to it)

The WDIway Peoplemover

Astro Orbitor(Similar to WDW's and is atop the Peoplemover station)

Star Tours(with an updated version of the old film in addition to 5 others, going to Tatooine, Hoth, Coruscant, Mustafar and Naboo)

Autopia(crammed in the bottom corner of Tommorowland, as the usual place for it is occupied by something else..)

Aquatopia(near Autopia)

The Progress Pavillion [Temporary name](Contains Carousel of Progress and Horizons)

Godzilla: Operation Final War(Hey, it works, the Godzilla movie its based on takes place in a near future with flying battleships, superhumans and advanced weaponry. See the attraction's own thread here: http://forums.wdwmagic.com/showthread.php?t=53093 )
Shops
Mickey's Star Traders(Bottom floor of Rockettower Plaza)
The Stomp Shop(for the Godzilla ride)
Coruscant Collectibles(Star Tours shop)
Restaurants
Cosmic Ray's Starlight Cafe
Tommorowland Terrace
Dex's Diner(For the Star Tours area, keeping in theme with Coruscant Collectibles. It's the diner from Episode 2 in case if you don't remember)
Entertainment
Videopolis stage with a Flash Gordon type stage show starring Mickey Mouse as our hero. Don't have a name for it though...

Neat. As a fellow Star Wars fan, I think the new Star Tours (and shop, and diner) is cool. I'm just wondering, what planet is Mustafar? Is it in Episode III?

Mustafar is the lava planet in Episode 3 where (highlight to read)Anakin and Obi Wan fight to the death and Anakin gets all crispy and that is why he has to wear the suit.

Mysterious Island
Mysterious Island acts as a transition between Tommorowland and Fantasyland. It is similar to the Tokyo Disneysea area.
Attractions
Journey to the Center of the Earth
20,000 Leagues Under the Sea(Done the old fashioned way, the subs enter the ride building by going underneath Mount Prometheus. The subs aren't necessarily like the Nautilus, though are done in the old steampunk style)
Mysterious Island Tour(A ride that goes around the island, encountering giant animals like in the Ray Harryhausen movie based on the book such as enormous crabs, giant birds, and enormous bees)
Mysteries of the Nautilus(Like the walkthru in Paris, but has a porthole in the parlor that looks out to live fish that occasionally changes to a projection of the squid attack on a special false window on the porthole. Is in a part of the lagoon seperate from the subs.)
Restaurants
Vulcania Resturant(Goes within the Volcano but also has some aquarium displays)
Shops
Souveneirs of the Sea
Entertainment
Captain Nemo can be found around the island as a streetmosphere character.

Fantasyland
Attractions
Snow White's Castle(Within is the Snow White's Adventure dark ride)

Peter Pan's Flight

Dumbo the Flying Elephant

Pinocchio's Daring Journey

Mr. Toad's Wild Ride(As a crazy mouse coaster like it was originally planned for Disneyland back in the 50's)

Mickey's Philharmagic

Mary Poppin's Jolly Holiday(You ride on carousel horses like in the Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious musical sequence throughout scenes from the movie)

King Arthur's Carousel

Mermaid Lagoon(Just like the area at Tokyo Disneysea, complete with most of the rides, but with a Little Mermaid dark ride inside as well. The train would pass above it, so the top would have more undersea theming)

Alice's Curious Labyrinth(Like the maze in Disneyland Paris with the addition of an encounter with the monstrous Jabberwock)

Mad Tea Cups

The Old Mill

Storybookland Canal Boats(Like the one at Disneyland Paris, but with some more set pieces)

Journey Into Imagination(Featuring Figment and Dreamfinder as our main characters and the Dreamseekers as a supporting cast.Near Tommorowland as another transition area. The whole complex includes the ImageWorks, the main Journey Into Imagination ride and the Nightmare Hunters ride. The main ride itself uses Pooh technology and comes into contact with Nightmare Hunters which is a thrilling encounter with nightmares running loose in the Dreamport culminating in a clash against a nightmarish dragon that appears to be a darkling twin to Figment. The Dreamseekers themselves would have slightly rehauled origins as apprentices to Dreamfinder helping out in the Dreamport as well as being on Ground Dream collection and Nightmare Control. They're mostly in the background, though they play a larger role in Nightmare Hunters)

Bald Mountain(A villian themed flume ride with a large Chernabog animatronic at the top that awakens every 15 minutes and will be a part of Fantasmic. The mountain has several openings resembling demonic faces, one at the big drop, one where a waterfall empties out of, and one where the boats can be seen from the ground. As you entered the forbidden mountain, Sora will warn of the dangers ahead. The villians are having a Evil Plotting meeting and once you go through, they start attacking you and throughout the ride, Sora will try and help you escape and there are many close calls. The villians include Malificent, Jafar, Oogie Boogie, Hades,Yzma, Scar, Chernabog, Ursula, Captain Hook, Shan Yu, and the Wicked Queen. At the big drop, a confrontation between Sora and Malificent causes us to go down the falls, with Malificent having gone dragon, and we don't see the conclusion to the fight. However, before we come back to the loading area, we go through a cave and see that Sora has triumphed, standing by a pile of the defeated villians.)
Fantasyland Train Station
Entertainment
The Sword in the Stone(By King Arthur's Carousel)

Sounds familliar. (I really should get back to that. It sounds like a good idea again.)

The whole idea of an evil Figment (and for that matter, the evil Mickey in Fantasmic) sorta grew from a story I'm in the midst of writing, which in turn was inspired from that REALLY old WDW video game idea I had. The Nightmare ride in JII would be like a mini EMV style experience with interactivity in some form(possibly something like the Buzz guns, though obviously having to be different considering the Tommorowland attraction, perhaps maybe slowly svcking (trying to avoid the filter) them away or weakening them with light...)

Goes up to the station at the northern tip of the island and back from their to the station at the southern tip, either way offering a close up view of the stuff on the island. CM's would play the roles of Tom Sawyer, Huck Finn and Becky as they pointed out the sights.)

Enchanted Tiki Room(The magic of the island seems to give birds and other wildlife the ability to speak. The show itself is like the original, though it is implied that Pele is the angry tiki god that caused the storm(using red fire looking lighting when the show gets to the angry part of the Hawaiian War chant. The animatronics are much more advanced and the birds are now much more expressive, being able to use their wings like arms.)

Parades, Nighttime Entertainment and Seasonal Stuff
Fireworks:
The main Fireworks show would be based off of Remember! Dreams Come True's E-Tickets in the Sky sequence, though with some Disney movie music as well. It would be started by Tinkerbell like most other fireworks shows and narrated by various characters including Mickey(opening and closing remarks),Mufasa(telling us of the great circle of life in Adventureland), and the Blue Fairy among others. Attractions covered would be:
Main Street montage
Haunted Mansion
Montage of Friend like Me, Two Worlds and Can't Wait to be King leading to Enchanted Tiki Room
Indiana Jones and the Mystery of Fire Mountain
Splash Mountain
Big Thunder Mountain
Rivers of America
Pirates of the Caribbean(The ship battle sequence in this case would utilize Bald Mountain and maybe Geyser Mountain as well)
Fantasyland(Montage covering the numerous dark rides as well as Mermaid Lagoon)
Journey Into Imagination
Bald Mountain(represented in the villian sequence of Wishes.)
Mysterious Island
Space Mountain
Godzilla: Operation Final Wars
Star Tours

For the 4th of July and Memorial Day, there would be a patriotic fireworks show based off of America Sings.

Parades
Have yet to think of a daytime parade, however, a updated Main Street Electrical Parade would run at night. It would mainly be based off of Dreamlights at Tokyo, though with a POTC, JII and Haunted Mansion sequence as well.
Tapestry of Nations would come in as a seasonal parade, running between December 26th and January 31st as a celebration of the new year. It would indeed include the Sage of Time as well as the puppets and drummers, but would include characters as well and the grand total of performers would be 365.
Other Seasonal Stuff
Halloween would have the villians try taking over the park and lots of spooky stuff would be around the parks and villians start appearing everywhere. Each land would have something wicked coming. Adventureland would have tiki gods, Barbossa's pirates, Jafar, hyenas and Ali Baba's 40 thieves roaming about. Critter Country would be over run with Heffalumps and Woozles. Frontierland would have bandits and Billy the Kid. Fantasyland would obviously be the stronghold of all this oncoming villiany and Sora would be running all over the place attempting to hold them off. Tommorowland would be invaded by the aliens from Planet X as well as Zurg and the Galactic Empire all in one big space turf war with occasional fireworks blasting out from the three parked space ships throughout the land(A miniature version of the Xian mothership by the Godzilla ride, a minature Star Destroyer by Star Tours, and Zurg's ship at Buzz Lightyear. Main Street would have Nightmare Before Christmas theming coming in for Haunted Mansion Holiday.
Christmas would have several holiday overlays including ones for Tiki Room, Haunted Mansion, Journey Into Imagination and Buzz Lightyear(Zurg goes after Santa...) as well as some holiday shows.

I have a few other parks for this resort in mind(A studios park and a World Showcase type park focusing on folklore as well as culture and locations) and I'll post them soon...

Before starting up the Studios, here's some misc. details on Disneyland park:
Figment, as a meet and greet character, would be a interactive animatronic to actual scale. However, to make up for Figment's small height(around 2 1/2 or 3 feet), he would be riding on a Dreamspeeder, a new dream collecting vehicle resembling a small version of the Dreammobile without the blimp. He would sign autographs using his mouth(as his hands are on the controls) and his voice would either be done in a similar fashion to Crush at Turtle Talk or with a crapload of prerecorded stuff by Dave Goeltz(the current Figment voice, as heard in JIIWF).
The America Sings patriotic fireworks would indeed be hosted by Sam the Eagle and Mr. Owl, both as costume characters that would also make appearances throughout 4th of July day.
Snow White's Castle's design would be similar to the DL castle, though stretched up a bit.
Godzilla, Indiana Jones and Star Wars would be major presences at the Studios and Disneyland, that trio basically being the big non-Disney movie franchise characters. Additionally, one Toho monster would appear in Japan's attraction at the World Showcase park(A Soarin style ride where you'd be carried by Mothra, whose looking for the twin fairies throughout Japan's beautiful landscapes and magnificent cityscapes)
Regarding the Godzilla ride's postshow with rubber suits and props on display, that was more in mind for a Studios park location, and the exhibit will be in the Toho Backlot area of the Disney Studios.
I'll probably put up the first bits of the studios park tommorow starting with Hollywood Boulevard and the Lucasfilm area.

The Light Side tells of triumphs of the Rebel Alliance to restore equality to the galaxy while the Dark Side tells of the fall of Anakin Skywalker, the end of the Jedi and the rise of the Empire. Both tracks would link up to Anakin's redemption, the destruction of the second Death Star and the final defeat of the Emperor. The Dark side would have a transfer tunnel to the finale showing images of Darth Vader's general evilness and the slow rise of the Rebellion.)

Toho Backlot
Themed with the production of a new epic Godzilla film, Toho Backlot has shows and exhibits on the making of the movies in addition to a amazing E-Ticket ride.
Attractions
Godzilla Special Effects Spectacular(In a giant pool based off the one used in various special effects films by Toho up until Final Wars[After production of it, the pool was torn down]. A suitimation actor dressed as Godzilla, takes on the Navy, the sea monster Ebirah and demolishes a sea side town[the miniature buildings would break away in order for them to be easily put back together, the same with the battleships])
History of the King(Exhibit with props and costumes(some would be replicas) from the films.)
Godzilla X King Kong X Gamera: War of the Monsters(An E-Ticket extravaganza where you would be put into the action as the three greatest giant monsters from three different studios mighty collaberation(Gamera from Daiei, Kong from Universal, Godzilla from Toho) fight an all out battle in Tokyo. Guests ride in bullet trains and go into an underwater tunnel to see Godzilla and Gamera in the sea locked in combat, threatening the train. Upon surfacing, you see that Kong is again put on display for a show and he soon escapes his bonds just as Godzilla and Gamera come to the surface. All three monsters start beating the crap out of each other and we get too close in some cases. Soon we get too close to one of the three as they come into biting range[utilizing enormous Audio Animatronic heads and the train would split off into three tracks for each of the monsters]. The fight continues on and we finally manage to get to safety where we can see from a distance who wins the battle. There would be cameras within the attraction getting video of the screaming guests in order to be inserted into a special souvenier DVD featuring more back story and how Godzilla, Gamera and Kong got into the same place in addition to another fight with Godzilla taking on the navy and Ebirah like in the SFX show. The ending on the DVD would correspond to who won on your ride, being sorted out by the three trains in your party. Really complex stuff and interactivity make this ride one of the best on property.)

Put in the trial of Wind

This post is just here to describe Fantasmic at my Disneyland.
The Island stage and amphitheatre would be located off the berm near Journey Into Imagination, Bald Mountain and Mysterious Island. The island mountain and the surrounding area with lots of rocky outcroppings as well as massive crystals from the JII side would be called the Island of Dreams and is visible from the train. The Island of Dreams is a magic place in Fantasyland where the power of imagination can really come to life, which is why Figment, Dreamfinder and the Dreamseekers set up the Dreamport nearby. Mickey Mouse also likes to spend time here practicing magic and sharing the powers of imagination with all who come to the Island of Dreams in the evening, when its powers are the most potent.
The Fantasmic show itself is much longer then the others, possibly around 45 minutes with additional Mickey vs. Villian sequences as Mickey has to defeat the villians and taking on several trials including Fire, Water, Earth, Wind and Shadow.
The preshow has the JII characters setting up the Island of Dreams and what would happen should nightmare befall the wonderful magic isle. Dreamfinder is the one that explains that one must face these nightmares in the five trials to defeat the powerful nightmares that can be unleashed via the power of imagination and the island as well and senses that Mickey may have to face this powerful evil of nightmares in order to possibly save the entire realm of Fantasyland.
It starts the usual way with Sorceror Mickey, Jungle(with the Lion King sequence from WDW), and the bubbles(not taking up as much time as in WDW though having some new parts as well including Figment spinning inside a bubble like in the original JII at Epcot.) We'd end the sequence with the Pinocchio characters and Monstro lunging forward.
The big sea battle this time is from the Pirates of the Carribean movie and takes place on the Black Pearl(Not sure whether the cursed pirates would be in skeleton mode, considering the amount of lighting at this point...) The end of this with Will and Elizabeth together leads into the Princess/Love montage and then into the evil plotting point with the Evil Queen getting everyone all together, now angry at Mickey's dreams of people united together through courage, love and friendship.
The Villians here would be: The Evil Queen, Ursula, Jafar, Oogie Boogie, Hades, Chernabog, Malificent and Shadow Mickey(who would be created from darkness here and add some tension for later parts in the show)
Trial of Earth: Jafar sends Mickey to the Cave of Wonders and fights him (Similar sequence to WDW's)
Trial of Water: Ursula sicks the Giant Squid from 20000 Leagues Under the Sea on Mickey, who gets help from Captain Nemo and crew. The Squid would come out from a large pool on the island, the tentacles being either controlled like puppets or like the Jafar snake.
Trial of Wind: Mickey encounters Oogie Boogie which leads to a musical segment based on the Oogie Boogie song. As Mickey escapes from the giant roulette table, Oogie unleashes several tornadoes on the island, but Mickey then pulls a loose string of Oogie's sack body, causing him to lose his bugs.
Trial of Shadow: Hades interlude, Chernabog coming in to attack from Bald Mountain. This leads to the duel between Mickey and his dark twin, Shadow Mickey, which involves sword fighting and some fireworks effects, leading to Shadow Mickey's defeat in a burst of light.
Trial of Fire: Mickey vs. Malificent, after Malificent goes dragon and the villians have their evil laughing time and Malificent gets to breath some fire, Mickey is joined by Donald, Goofy and Minnie who through the powers of friendship, courage and love(in the form of a mighty magic energy blast of course, going through Mickey's sword) destroy Malificent and the villians once and for all.
Tink comes in as well as the Steamboat with the characters and Mickey at the controls. Mickey goes sorceror again leading to the massive finale fireworks and the last line of "Some Imagination, Huh?" as he is with Donald, Goofy and Minnie on the island.

I've done some reconsiderations on things for Tommorowland. Mickey's Star Traders will be at the bottom floor of Rockettower Plaza underneath the Peoplemover loading area. Also, I've reconsidered the Alien Encounter scenario to be much more like the apparent original plans Jim Hill just put in the new Why For, making Clench even more like a @$$#0le then before and making the scene with SIR and Skippy a little more sinister and Stitch would probably be removed or incorporated as an additional creature teleported in with their fight intact and them helping us escape XS Tech's evil facility. No gift shop though because of it, why would you wanna buy stuff from the people who tried to kill you. Rather, you would get to an "emergency exit" of the Teleporter roon that would get you to Cosmic Ray's.
Here's the article at Jim Hill with the plans for the original and much darker Alien Encounter: http://www.jimhillmedia.com/mb/articles/showarticle.php?ID=1460
