Next Fall, the Ghostbusters ride the streets of Manhattan again on multiple gaming platforms and PC!! I can't wait for this. The original writing team of Ackroyd and Ramis are back with the script(originally what was going to be the third movie if they had done another). In addition, the four Ghostbusters will be voiced by the actors themselves as well. This looks like it's going to be fantastic and is supposed to be out sometime around Halloween 2008.

I CAN NOT WAIT!!!
:D

Did you hear about the DS version where you get to manage the business of it, like the old game! I'm a huge Ghostbusters fan, as evident by my huge old The Real Ghostbusters cold-weather blanket, not to mention all the old Real GhostBusters toys in the garage. The movies and 80's saturday morning cartoons are just about the best things ever.

Any idea what console(s) this will be for?

It looks VERY good. I can't wait! :sohappy:

WHAT DID YOU DO RAY?!!?!?!

So far they are saying it will be on PS3, XBOX 360, Nintendo Wii and Nintendo DS and the PC. The Nintendo Wii version will have the same story as the others, but will be styled more after The Real Ghostbusters cartoon show. It will also include a co-operative mode for up to four people(One for each Ghostbuster). There is also supposed to be a multiplayer arena style mode where you can play either as a Ghostbuster or as a ghost. If you play as a ghost, there are walls that you can pass through and you are able to slime your opponents. There's a big article about the game in the current issue of Game Informer magazine. Lots of cool screenshots and good information.

The Real Ghostbusters cartoon was pretty sweet. Remember the other Ghostbusters cartoon, the one with the ape named Tracy? It was based off a live action show of the same name. The Real Ghostbusters toy line was pretty cool. I had the four Ghostbusters and the Ecto-1.

There was a recent (in the past few years) comic book for Ghostbusters from 88MPH Studios. It was more in the feel of the first movie.

Cool MST3K avatar by the way.

What are you supposed to be? Some kind of cosmanaut?
No, we're exterminators. Someone saw a cockroach up on 12.
Must be some cockroach.
Bite your head off, man.

Thanks very much! Yeah, those toys were the best! My favorite: The life size role play ghost trap! It was awesome...you stepped on the little pedal, and it opened up! The Proton Pack one was great too...I think I have one that was MIB up in the garage...

Winston: "Hey, wait a minute. Hey. Hey. Hey. Hey. Hey. Hold it. Now, are we actually gonna go before a federal judge, and tell him that some moldy Babylonian God is going to drop in on Central Park West, and start tearing up the city?"
Egon: "Sumerian, not Babylonian."
Venkman: "Yeah. Big difference."
Winston: "No offense, guys, but I've gotta get my own lawyer."

By The Power of Grayskull! I have the POWER!

I watched the He-Man & She-Ra Christmas Special today :lookaroun

I really wish they'd get this movie off and running! (A video game would rock too!)

Anywho...

In the current issue of Wizard magazine they said that they have found a script writer for the film and that is will be based in Eternia and be nothing like that awful 1980's film with Courtney .

"Listen... Do you smell something?"
