I would give it a try, although it looks highly suspect. I do like things like Mexican hot chocolate and spiced/seasoned sweets, and I'm thinking that was the direction they were trying to go in, but it didn't seem to go over well with the reviewer! Now a tequila lime cheesecake....that sounds like what they SHOULD have done! YUM!

That sounds so much better! I love spice and agree Mexican hot chocolate is yummy but this just sounds terrible to me :)

So I was reading the Disney food blog for today...

http://www.disneyfoodblog.com/2012/...ring-canyon-cafe-in-disneys-wilderness-lodge/

And want to know if anyone thinks the jalapeño cheesecake looks remotely appealing?

There are very few things I wouldn't try but this absolutely 1 of them. Any tried this and liked it?

I read the review also. All Ears did a blog review a few weeks back with the same results from comments. Guests are returning the dessert, no questions asked by the CMs. It seem pretty unanimous that it is awful. I'm surprised it is still around after taking the horrible hits from major forum sights.

You can put me down as another "No".
It seems like a way too eclectic mixture of flavours.
Not crazy about the presentation in the glass jar either. If it were good (which apparently it's not), I like to be able to lick the plate.

On paper, it sounds like an interesting idea. I don't love cheesecake, but the flavors seem like they could make sense together. The presentation isn't very appealing, though.

If it were on the table, I might take a begrudging taste of a teeny-tiny bit (like five year olds do).

But I'd never order it. Don't like cheesecake and jalapeños are both too hot and unpleasant tasting for me.
