I have a question about who want's to be a millionaire attraction in the Studios. Are the questions they ask all Disney-related, or are they just general knowledge like the TV show? I need to know if I have any chance of getting into the hot seat. Thanks.

I've seen differing opinions on this site but I think Millionaire is a lot of fun. The set is really cool and the host or hostess is usually really polished, good enough (almost) for the TV version. Play along and you never know, you might end up in the hot seat. Our last trip, an eleven year old made it. He did better than the adult who followed him.

The questions are general knowledge, but one of the first one's in usually Disney related.

I made the hot seat in August...very nerveracking!

Ooh...do tell. Do you have (or does anybody have) any tips for getting into the hotseat? That's one of my lifetime goals (I know I'm a loser)

The questions tend to be as hard as the network show. I have been in the hot seat several times, but have not gotten past 16,000. I have a nice set of baseball caps though  . They usually start with a fastest finger question which is all luck. My 6 year old son got in the hot seat by luckily punching in the right combination the fastest.

It's all reflexes...you can know all the answers but without speed you can't do anything.

I got in the hot seat in August and it was great! I thought I'd be scared to death, but I wasn't at all, I was very surprised. I was very relaxed and and confident. I lucked out in getting a lot of questions I knew. I missed the 64,000 question, but I'm happy, I got a neat polo shirt, and I honestly didn't know the question. :) They had a couple Disney questions, some history, science, Latin, and even a math question (not an actual problem, just a question). Luckily, I had just finished my summer semester of Calculus at the time, so the math one, which was the 32,000 question, was a breeze for me. There really is a lot of luck in what questions you get. What may be a hard question for someone else may be easy for you. It really was one of my greatest Disney experiences. :)

Yensid, you must have had a frontal lobotimy (j/k) but I was scared so hard when I got in the hot seat that I thought I might fill the pants.

I've done Millionaire atleast 20 times and the questions fluxuate. Some are Disney, so arn't.

When we were at Disney in Jan. '02, we visited Millionaire four times. First time we all got all the answers correct, but didn't know the trick to getting the fastest score. By the end of that first visit, I noticed the person next to me, tapping on the button before all the choices had been revealed. I learned that if you know the answer (and it's A, B, or C), start tapping on that choice before the rest of the wrong answers are revealed. If you know that A, B, and C are wrong, lay on D immediately. That way when the D choice is revealed and the computer starts to register everyones answers, your time choosing the button will be greatly reduced. The next time we visited the attraction, I ended up number 2 and my 11 year old daughter number 4 at the end of the show. If the show had lasted a couple more questions, I may have moved into first (assuming I had the correct answers). The fastest finger is the toughest part of the show, since this strategy doesn't work here........And my final answer....if you get a question wrong, forget about being anywhere near the top ten at the end of the show.

That is so awesome! Congrats!

To the rest of you...thanks for all the help, I hope when i get back in December I have a success story of my own.

That's why it was one of my greatest Disney experiences, because for the first time ever I wasn't nervous at all in front of an audience. I really, honestly have no clue why I wasn't but it was different there for some reason. Now, whenever I have to do something that I get nervous about, like an interview or give a presentation, I just imagine I'm going in to sit in the hot seat there, and I calm down immediately and I feel great. :D I don't know why it works, but hey, I'm not aruging. ;)
