My mom wrote a letter to Guest Communications about a manager of a WDW hotel that went above and beyond in all aspects of service. They had developed a friendship over the numerous trips to WDW over a year and staying at "his hotel". Well that letter made it all the way to Meg Crofton's desk and he was called in to a meeting and promoted to manager of a bigger hotel and one of the managers read her letter out loud to the whole group. NOt sure if Meg was at the meeting but to my memory she was and the manages said she teared up as the letter was read. I can tell you with 110% certainty that letters can make it to the top. I have watched the results of one.

Yes! Very true! I know some comments/letters I wrote went to execs, to the point I got a gift in the mail from one(which shocked me btw).

im glad i started a worthy thread.....plus one point for me.

main reason i asked FYI was to know what this inner rift between cali and florida were. but i did some reading =)
