Who Loves a Character Breakfast??

Firstly....NEVER - NEVER EVER - too old for character meals. With the exception of Garden Grove over at the Swan, we have done every single WDW character breakfast and after this upcoming trip where we try 1900 PF dinner...we will have tried every single character meal altogether. I say I do them for the kids, but it's no secret that mommy also really enjoys a character meal. :D

Two years ago we caught a Black Friday deal on www.restaurants.com for $50 Garden Grove gift certificates for $25. We bought two and used them to see Pluto and Goofy one night and Timon and Rafiki another. The food was good, nothing special, but the character interaction was amazing because there were so few people each time we went.

With the 1900 Park Fare breakfast last trip we've done all the character dining too. Unless you count seeing Remy in France. We are dining there in August. (p.s. this mommy really enjoys a character meal too.;))

IDO!!!! lol. Me and my sis are going to hit the princess breakfasts this year. Were long time fans!

Also Chef Mickey's is great! Do they still do make your own ice cream?

Never done one...Too old now..:( :( :(

No, no, no, no, NO! You're never too old for a good character breakfast! Actually you're never too old for anything at Disney, be you 20, 40 or even a cool 100 year old!

We did 5 of them this past trip and I loved each and every minute of them! No kids here, just a 30 year old with her 70 year old mother! We had a blast each and every time.

Here's the list of our picks:
Akershus - for the princesses.
Tusker House - to curb my Donald obsession.
Cape May - because Donald in beach wear is just too funny to explain!
Crystal Palace - because it's POOH! And because MK before opening time is just perfection.
Chef Mickey's - who cares about the food, there's a monorail travelling above you!

On our next trip we'll have a repeat of TH, CP and we'll add 1900 Park Fare because I'm now obsessed with Drizella. I need her to be my next BFF. :p

We STILL hit CRT every trip even though M & M are both in college; can't imagine a trip to the World without that ressie. Additionally, we love Askerhaus and Tusker House (breakfast only for both).

Uh, meh. To me, the food is better at non character breakfasts, and I rarely feel the need to see the characters anymore. Food quality and prices are more important to me than whether or not I see characters. I can't even remember the last time I dined with characters. My favorite breakfast place is Kona followed by Kouzzina's. I love the blueberry pancakes at Kona and their breakfast platters are good. We also rarely do buffets because there's no way my 11-year-old brother can eat all that food.
