Since the sad passing of Steve Jobs, I'm curious about who the largest stockholder is.

Anyone know?

Pretty sure when you die you don't automatically stop owning those stocks. I assume his estate is the owner now.

Exactly, the stocks are part of his estate and will be distributed by the executors according to his will. At this point they are part of his estate.

So i guess the real question here is: Who is the second largest share holder?

Very logical conclusion

Why should charity be public?, You know the recipient knows your deity knows, Public charity to me is not charity at all, Unless it's made in someone else's name as a memorial to them.

What makes donating to charity better then lining the pockets of his descendants? He earned that money fair and square. Who are we or anyone for that matter to say what should be done with his money. If he never gave a penny to a charity while he lived and kept his full estate in family only I'm perfectly ok with that. On the other hand, if he gave 100% of his estate to charity, I'd be ok with that too. I just don't understand why people think just because someone is rich they should donate to charities. (Not personally saying you AEfx, but in general).

Sorry for the OT

i know it's not me. i hold like ten shares. also, a lot of people have said that jobs was kind of an a$$hat. it would be nice if some of his money went to charity, but i don't know why it would matter. (unless he left it all to disney to build, like, some amazing ride or something.)
