Hey all, I'm new here.

Ran into this great site while looking for Disney Forums and gotta say, I am impressed!

Anyways, I am kinda doing a little assignment for someone and I was curious if anyone here was at disney world yesterday... probably from Noon on?

More specifically, I'm wondering if anyone noticed any people causing disturbances or even more specifically, anyone wearing shirts with hate messages?

I ask because there is a group that travels the country protesting, and they protested at my church yesterday.

I was told that they were going to Disney after, but in the newspaper article, they said they were going to protest at a funeral in gainesville after (yes, these are THOSE people).

Anyways, they didn't show up at the funeral, so I wonder if what I was told was true or not. I was asked by a guy at the New Journal to look into seeing if I could prove they were at Disney. If they were, it would be very ironic and would make a really interesting story.

Anyways, I'm looking to see if anyone saw them, have pictures of them, or saw any strange disturbances. These people were decked out in hate messaged clothing although some had less obvious shirts on... but I have no doubt that if they went to disney, they did not change their shirts.

They would be a family of about 11. Mostly children. 2-3 adults. Some wore dark shirts that said "Sign Movies"

Anyways if you guys saw, or know of anyone who saw them, could you post here or let me know...

Thanks agian.

lol...

I guess my point is that there would be a trail... some evidence they went. They would no doubt wear their shirts... and people would notice... I've searched for blogs with people posting pictures trying to find if anyone saw them... people were bound to have taken pictures of them...

and with wearing shirts like that, I bet they caused a few incidents...

You think if I called WDW, they'd tell me if there were any incidents involving them or something?... I'm tempted...

It's possible that they were not allowed into WDW with those shirts on though - I've seen that happen - they make them turn them inside out.

I can tell you for a fact (because I've seen it with my own eyes) that if any of the God hates group showed up wearing those shirts, they wouldn't have even gotten on the tram .... CM's would have told them that the shirt were in violation of WDW's dress code policy and told them to change the shirts or leave .... I was waiting for a tram last year when a teenager and some of his friends walked up to the waiting area wearing a shirt that just about anyone would have found offensive (don't think I need to repeat it) ... anyway, when the tram arrived, the CM in the back was very professional and polite and told the kid to either change his shirt or he couldn't get on the tram ... kid replied with the same word that was on the shirt ... CM grabbed his radio and about a min or so later Orange County Sheriff's and Disney security showed up ... they kid got really polite at that point ....... as for 8-12-07 ... I was at Epcot from 9-2:30 and Magic Kingdom from 3-10:30 ... I didn't see or hear about any disturbances .... I did notice a higher than usual security presence so there's the possibility that WDW was aware that there might be a problem and handled it accordingly ... also, I wouldn't bother calling them ... Disney doesn't even tell anyone how many people come to their parks each day ... they don't even like talking to the press about anything negative happening at WDW .......

Wow, a family has nothing else better to do then to protest at a dead gay person's funeral, and afterwards were going to go to WDW. Some classy people. If they were wearing those shirts, they wouldn't be allowed into the parks at all. BTW, I've read and heard their radio show several times (man, I want to say almost ten years ago--shows how old I really am.) If you get these people any form of positive or negative attention, then you lose.

What about the shirts with "Sign Movies"... I wonder if maybe they changed their shirts.

I checked my pictures and it would seem only the mother had the "God Hates .com" shirt on... they wouldn't recognize the other shirt right?

Thanks for all the information guys... this is great.

I realize they are a force to be reckoned with but So Am I.

I'm also seeing whether or not they violated their permit to protest because you're suppose to have the time and place written on the permit...

At the last minute, they changed what time they were going to protest... which makes me wonder if there isn't something to say about that.

Also, they stopped people from crossing the street to get to the church which is also a crime...

and we're also trying to figure out where they parked because if they parked on the church grounds, it would be trespassing as well.

You all realize that you are furthering their cause by posting their web address and cause here. They didnt even need to show up at WDW and they are getting publicity for being there. Hopfully the mods lock this one soon.

Why do some so-called Christians want to spout hatred toward their fellow man?

I'm sorry, I didn't mean to cause a problem... I was simply curious... I'll remove the addys if you all would do as well... I hadn't originally wanted to mention what they said on the shirts... but I felt it might be important or spark someones memory...

But I am a firm believer that knowledge is power. To ignore a problem is to say you condone it.

Fighting a problem, being knowledgeable about such a problem, and being aware of it is the best thing you can do.

You'd be amazed how many people don't know about these people or would rather pretend the world exists without them when the sad actuality is they exist and in far greater numbers than we'd like them to.

My point in posting this is because I want to do something about this problem. I'm looking into possible legal action right now and the more I know, the better. Knowing for sure that they were there will help me get more support through the newspaper and possibly help get support other ways...

That's why I came here...

Some lady and her family from 'God Hates F*GS' are on Howard Stern sometimes. I have to admit, its hard to listen to this lady and her family spew so much hate.

I was at MK from opening to about 5 that day. I didn't see anything. But like everyone else said, Disney doesn't put up with that stuff. They know how to handle it and well...I seriously doubt that they even got in.

"Really Patsy, you've half Jewish?"
"Well sire, but that's something you don't tell a well armed Christian..."
