I have! Picked it up last night and stayed up late watching it through and through. Be sure to flip to disc 2 to watch Jack Jack Attack when you finish with the main feature.

I love this movie!

i preordered it at the Disney Store to get the 15% coupon and the lithographs, and picked it up last night. As i left the mall, a voice in my head said "look at the box....", luckily i listened. right there at the top of the DVD case:
FULL-SCREEN
ack! I turned on my heel, and went back. they said that all they had was full-screen, and that they didn't think they were going to get wide-screen in, so they refunded my money but let me keep the purchase i made with the coupon (and the lithographs of course)

i was really hoping that, like previous Pixar releases, the dvd would come with both formats in the same box. for all movies post-Toy Story, the full-screen version was actually re-rendered to fill the entire scene without missing anything (generally just for wide panning shots, closeups are still pan-and-scan). Did they do this for the full-screen Incredibles?

I'll probably get a wide-screen copy somewhere else tonight.

I officially nominate this thread to be the official Incredibles DVD talkback.... officially.
(out of 10)
Jack-Jack Attack: 8
It was really funny, but could have been a bit more frantic. I was going to give it 7/10, but the cameo at the end saved it.

Mr. Incredible & pals: 9
Hilarious! Great parody of limited animation shows like "Birdman" and of course "Clutch Cargo" (the mouths man! freaky!) and the inclusion of the senseless animal sidekick? Perfect! Listen for the horribly cliche'd 60's dialogue and crappy generic voices, kids won't get it, but its fantastic.

MI&P Comentary: 10
Wow!! watch the short first, then watch it again with the commentary from Mr I and Frozone! Samuel L. Jackson does some terrific scenery chewing here in-character without actually being on camera. Absolutely Great

Super Files: 6.5
I was hoping for some animation here, similiar to the film's opening. The audio interviews aren't bad, but they just don't seem to live up to their promise. The concept is good, but some jokes fall a little flat.

Vowellette: 7
Sarah Vowel, the voice of Violette, is cute and funny. Worth watching once, especially if you're an NPR listener.

Bloopers: 5
some of the animation flubs aren't as bad as they could have been, lessening their humor. I was hoping for in-character bloopers similiar to previous Pixar films, but no luck. It's also short, weighing in at under 2 minutes.

Character Interviews: 7
these were available on the web last year, so nothing new if you've seen them. Pretty funny though, Edna Mode and Frozone are particularly funny.

Please note that a score of 7 isn't bad at all! I'm counting this on the "Pixar Scale"... a Pixar 7 translates into anyone else's 9 :)

I haven't gotten to the "Making Of" featurette yet, but if its anything like previous offerings, I'm sure it will be extensive and insightfull. I'm also looking forward to Brad Bird's commentary on disc 1, i'll get to that this weekend. Overall, there's ALOT of new content included that they didn't need to give us. Pixar went above (to infinity) and beyond with their offerings. It all adds to the experience and helps enhance the "universe" of the film, I'm glad we got it!

CoffeeJedi, I am responding to your ratings of the DVD:

I rated the Jack-Jack Attack higher than the Mr. Incredible & Pals and would just flip-flop your scores there. As for Vowelette, I remember hearing that "my dad and his cannon" bit on NPR and would never have made the connection without this reference, but at the end of the day, I agree with your "see it once" opinion. The laugh track on the bloopers was for crap and pulled its score down to a low score - the 5 sounds about right.

The teaser gets a 9. It was fun to see how much the movie changed between this preview and the final product. When looking at his "ego wall" of past exploits, the Time and Life magazine covers, etc., my dtr picked up right away that those photos were in the red suit, which he wouldn't have had at the time, being that his old suit was blue.

"Bounding" gets a 10 for quirkiness and its follow up explanations. I also give the character interviews a 10 and am very glad these were included on the DVD, because even though they were available some time ago, some time from now they would be lost and potentially gone forever if not included on the DVD.

Deleted Scenes - 8. It was enlightening to see how the script evolved, but the end product was better without the deleted scenes, IMO. Funny also to see how at one time Jack-Jack was apparently going to be an only child.

Waiting to buy it until the end of the month. Disney is running the buy-3-get-1-free deal starting at the end of the month, so I'll wait until then.
But is sure is hard to!

it was HILARIOUS. I could watch a whole DVD of Incredibles and Friends.

I did not care for the commentary at all.

My dad bought one this week. We watched it last night. It was the first time I saw it, and I liked it. The Jack-Jack attack was hilarious. But we have to exchange ours because one scene at the beginning got skipped over!! It would just stop and wouldn't play. :veryconfu

It's highly doubtful that the DVD is to blame. While it is possible that you got a defective DVD, it's more likely that your DVD player is malfunctioning. If you have another DVD player in the house (computer DVD player perhaps) try the DVD in another player.
