Know what you mean.... every day I'm announcing to DW ( and anyone else I run into ) how many days we are at and doing a celebratory dance that its one day closer.. We're at 150 days today ....
We have done Disney in Nov. before. Its a time where the weather can be warm and then turn chilly or be chilly and stay chilly. We pack both shorts and long pants, bring a sweatshirt/ windbreaker to the parks for later in the day. There can be some chillier evenings so sometimes we start out in shorts and find we have to go back to the resort to change to warmer clothes. The hot tub at the resort is a welcome place to be at the end of the day. The CM's will sometimes have gloves and their heavier coats on.... So far previous Nov. trips we have been blessed with good weather, by that time the tropical seasons blown past.

November can be hit or miss. Generally, it will be shorts weather. However, you could see the 40s as well. Since it is 6 months away, you have 5.5 months to wait and see.

We were there this past November and the weather ran the gamut. Shorts and shades at the beginning and end, and lots of jackets, sweatshirts, and raincoats in the middle.

I say be prepared for anything, and check the forecast right before you go to know what type of clothes should take up the bulk of your suitcase real estate.

Thank you, I will be prepared and add a few hoodies and trousers.

I have read it doesn't rain too much in November though hoping that is true.

Yes it seems ages off but I have so many added extras I have to buy I am happy for the time to save up for them

Hey everybody

we are going in November and I am unsure what clothes to pack ?
Has anyone had bad weather during a November visit ?

Driving other half crazy with countdown updates
Only 157 days Tehehe

Thank you
November is one of my favorite months here. Like said above November can be a guessing game. Day time is nice and usually not cold. When the sun goes down it gets pretty chilly. Rain, that ones hit or miss and is also at the end of hurricane season which can bring rain often.

I was there last year and we had something like 75 degrees one day and about 48 degrees the day after! It literally dropped overnight then stayed cold for a couple of days and then went up again but on the whole it's normally nice in Nov. I got caught out last year As it was near the end of our holiday but once I caught the weather update I just hit the outlets one night to buy jeans and a fleece! It was a good excuse to go shopping a. 151 days till this years trip.

Went in November the last three years. There was one day in each of those years when it was in the 80's and one day it was in the 50's. Pack for both Summer and Winter. For some reason 50's in Florida feels like Winter.
I think even Northerners can get caught off-guard by the cold early in the season. My family is from Buffalo. We were in Palm Springs one November before we had experienced cold at home; it was in the upper 40s, but it felt so cold that we did not even want to go outside with our winter coats on (we had them with us because we were stopping over in DC after LA). That upper 40s would have felt like walking on the Sun in the middle of February, but we just couldn't handle it there and then.

Similarly, I was in MK late one night (like 2AM) in early November, and I was freezing. I don't think it could have been much below 50, but my poor little fingers were just about frozen solid... and I'm the kind of person that's in shorts for as long as possible!

A few years ago we went in mid-November. We wore shorts & tee's during the day on most days, and went swimming a few times during the day. In the evenings, we wore hoodies or long sleeve tees. I think our last day there was colder than the rest of the week, and we needed long sleeves all day. I agree that the temps can be hit or miss!

Well we will be arriving from Scotland so hopefully it won't feel too cold in comparison.
Will go back to the hotel and change for the cooler evenings. Just so excited to being there. I have a itinerary already and it's great to have so many people sharing their wisdom and experiences xxx

I'll be there Nov 5-13, I think that's around your dates. You might be the week after me

We live in New England and went there last year for the second week on November. For the most part, we were about to wear shorts/t-shirts most days. At night it did get cool, we would wear sweatshirts and long pants. Temp wise it was high 60's/low 70's.

I will say that we spoke to people that went the following week and it was so cold they wore coats all week. I think it was steady 50's temp wise.

We've gone twice over Thanksgiving and it was cold both years, 2012 and 2013. Like literally in the 30's with wind, one night. We were bundled up like eskimos. There were a few days in the mid 70's and the grandkids swam, while I laid on a chair in sweats covered up with towels freezing. One year there was rain, and it was chilly and damp.

I heard after we left when December rolled in, so did sun and warmer days....

end of October, beginning of November is when we visit each year. I've been there mid to late Nov and I can say Ive always packed the same way. Yes we did pack a swim suit (sometimes didnt use it) but for me, capris, shorts and jeans, husband, shorts and jeans, tshirts a few button down shirts and we always get a hoodie each stay. Nights can be a tad cool so the sweatshirt comes in handy :)

We have done November twice in the past 5 years. It is a great time of year to go because the crowds tend to be lighter. The weather is also pretty mild. We still had some pool days and could wear shorts and tees during the day. Make sure to pack sweat shirts for after the sun goes down. Also, restaurants are still pretty air conditioned! I did bring a few pairs on jeans last time and maybe wore them one night. It's better to be prepared then to have to buy something when you get there. Sunscreen is also a must even in November!

We were there in November 8-15, 2014. The weather was great!!!!! The average temp was about 75-80 with no humidity. There was only one day when it rained/sprinkled and it was cooler but we were in The AK and we just dodged the raindrop. I will never go in the summer again...November in my month of choice!..:cat:
