Well, I didn't dislike the CP, but I left with a much more nunanced view of WDW and the Disney company and I really don't have any desire to work for Disney in a front-line role again. You mentioned you haven't heard negatives, so here you go:
*It's hot (as if you didn't know).
*Guests will be rude to you.
*The work will likely be tedious and monotonous after a while.
*You won't make any money.
*Independent thought and expression are not encouraged. (For some people, this isn't a big deal...for me, it was.)
Then there's the other side, which I'm sure you've heard enough about. The bottom line is, there will be days you hate the whole thing, and there will be days you'll wonder how you can ever bring yourself to leave when it's over. It really is that extreme. For me, I view it as a very special and valuable time in my life. it's something I'll likely never get the chance to do again, and I wouldn't trade that time for anything. It's a part of who I am. I wasn't happy everyday (sometimes, I was downright miserable), but that can happen anywhere.
As long as you have some idea of what to expect and are realistic in what you hope for, I would advise you to do it. The fact that you're on this site indicates that you care more about Disney than the average person, and your curiosity about the program probably means it would be a good experience for you.
Hope that helps some.
