If you had to choose between WC breakfast or lunch which would you choose and why? This is the only one I am having a hard time making a decision on. We do plan on eating at RF for most breakfast is there that much of a difference in menus? I want to experience WC at least once :)
Thanks :)

We are staying at WLV this upcoming trip for the first time, and plan to visit WCC for breakfast on our arrival day. We did stop in a Roaring Forks for lunch last year and enjoyed it very much, but never did breakfast at either place. We were eyeing WCC for breakfast for the skillet and the eggs bennie. (Seriously, you cant go wrong!!) We love the choices at WCC for breakfast. RF looks terrific, but I vowed I would try WCC atleast once this upcoming trip for breakfast :)

I've only been to the WC for breakfast, our ADR was quite early so the 'entertainment' is minimal, the later your ADR the better. I'm not into the theatrical side of WC so it was good for me, our server was funny and friendly and the skillet was lovely!

Di, we are seriously considering WCC for breakfast over Ohana what did you think of breakfast overall?

We also went very early and things were more mild at that time. We had a 7:35a and while my parents asked me to have our server go light on the antics, I figured we'd at least see a lot at neighboring tables...still it was like WCC-lite. Mind you, I've still heard breakfast and dinner are best for the antics...so maybe it's just a matter of not having one of the really early ADRs.

Curious...is it the food or the experience you're more concerned about? Personally, I think experiences vary with both meals. Our food was good to avg when we dined at WCC and below average at 'Ohana breakfast, but I know people who have had great meals at both. I still think WCC is worth a try if you haven't done it.

The experience regarding CMs? Not really... was actually looking for a breakfast on arrival day that would be filling, convenient and would able us to head to Epcot. Ohana breakfast serves ONE purpose for us.. I get to see Pluto LOL but I figured Id do WCC instead, see Pluto at Chef Mickey's (believe it or not, our quest, every year, is for Mom (me) to see Pluto!) We are big breafast fans, considering a few this Nov., Chef Mickeys, Boma, WCC and wherever else my wdwmagic brothers and sisters suggest.

I can relate. It's vital that I get to see Donald at least once each trip. We were pretty full with our meals at WCC. Of course, most of the things we had are no longer on the menu...but the all you care to eat platter would surely be filling. Back when we went, I had a bbq version of the eggs benedict, I think DH had one of the omelets, someone had pancakes, and someone had some kind of French toast...and we were all feeling pretty full for some time. I recall not stopping for lunch until almost 1:30p that day, and even that was a lighter lunch as we weren't starving either.

This is a definate for us then!! We loved WL when we visited last year! 10 days in a villa plus a great breakfast, I may never leave LOL

Super structures are my specialty!
Dinner is our favorite at WCC but breakfast would be second with lunch in 3rd place. If you leave hungry it's your own fault whatever meal you you have ADR's for. WCC is a family favorite for us.

Sandy... of course home made dole whips are welcomed!!! LOL

That would be kind of funny to have a villa, bring an ice cream maker and the mix, and make your own Dole Whips while at WDW! :) Ugh- I really wanted to spike mine tonight but I've already had a number of drinks this weekend. DH and I spent the day walking around Galveston...me drinking frozens...and getting a not so nice sunburn. I've been chugging nothing but water since we got home. Maybe tomorrow if we grill!

The breakfast was great, we had the all you can eat breakfast skillet, really tasty and you get seconds and thirds if you want them! I had second helpings of bacon and mickey waffles! The CM's are great, even at 7am they were playing the part! If you want to experience more of the entertainment side then I'd make an ADR for between 9am - 10am when more people are eating.

I think you would enjoy both Deb, it's a tough one, both have great food and entertainment, the only difference I guess is Ohana is a character breakfast. It's a tough call! I don't think either would be a bad decision!

I think we will skip Ohana breakfast this year but hopefully not dinner!!! LOL Really look forward to WCC :)

We had lunch at WCC this past November. As a matter of fact they were offering the all you can skillet even though it was not on the menu. We enjoyed their Fish with sweet potato fries, and the nachos, both were yummy. There was not a lot of people but the CM's were very good! We laughed through the whole meal!

I just made a reservation to have breakfast there when we go back to the world in September:) .
