Whispering Canyon review

So last night was our final ADR of our 6 days at the park and talk about a fantastic way to finish it off. Our party of 5 of DW, DS14, DS11 and his best friend came with just a suggestion that the food was great. Not only was the food great but the atmosphere was spectacular. DS11 got the pork chop and cheese grits, DS14 got the roasted chicken plate and the rest of us got the Skillet. Of course the boys all got milkshakes and I had sprite. Speaking of, boy did I get a surprise when I ordered a refill of sprite and my DS11 got a refill of his milkshake! We laughed all night about that, the ketchup and singing songs all night!

Would recommend this to anyone as this was my best dining experience at WDW I have ever had.

Good to here Whispering Canyon is still fun and still a good place to eat. We went for breakfast on the morning of my DW's birthday and we informed our server of the occasion. We got the breakfast skillet with a large side of embarrassment.

We love WCC! The food is good and we are a family that can make fun of ourselves so we always laugh and have a good time there.

We participated in the Ketchup call, and lots of singing of Happy Birthday. My boys really wanted to be picked for one of the "parade" laps around the restaurant. That and the atmosphere was great along with fantastic food.

I've always enjoyed Whispering Canyon Cafe. On our first visit there (my wife and I were on a family trip with my family), the waiter kind of zeroed in on me to give me a hard time (all in fun), and it ended up that they had me ride a little wooden stick horse around the entire restaurant shouting something about "I'll be a nicer customer" (or something like that).

We thought it was tasty and fun and need to give it another try sometimes. The last time we were there, our server was very slow so we didn't each as much of the platter as we might have as it took forever to get refills.

Great place - I liked the old menu though. The new one - meh. Of course that doesn't stop me from getting seconds on anything
