Whispering Canyon or Boma?

I've been to Boma twice (only) and never saw kids with sticks. That sounds more like 'Ohana. Or maybe I was there on an 'off' night?

I've been to Boma about a dozen times and I too have never seen kids running around with sticks. In fact, the kids somehow are more well-behaved there because it has a rather "grown-up" atmosphere.

It was O hanas I was just seeing who was paying attention. Bomas is the place where some people moan cause they dont serve burger and fries.

Boma, unless you have picky eaters in your party, in which case WC would be a safer bet. I've eaten at both, and Boma is my favorite.

At Boma they have a bland pod for "picky" eaters that has mac n cheese, burger bites fries and other things lacking in flavour

My vote is for Boma - great food and relaxed atmosphere. I've not been to Whispering Canyon but as I find kids running around a restaurant irritating, going some place where it's encouraged is not a good idea to me.

I've lost track of the number of people I hear moaning like that. I even had someone get shirty with me when in Epcot they asked for the nearest place to eat and I pointed them towards Mexico. They compalined that they'd not be able to get a burger there. So I pointed them to Electric Umbrella and they got upset that I was sending them so far away. :lol:

Bomas or Whispering Canyon? What a tough call as we have had great food and great times at both.

I think I would do Boma's, in my opinion the best buffet on or off property, the choice and quality of food is excellent. As mentioned before, go hungry or be prepared to waddle for a few hours.

Whispering Canyon Milkshakes

Hello,

I am going to Disney the end of April, beginning of May and was thinking of going to either Whispering Canyon, or Boma and was just trying to see which people recommend?

One thing that impressed me quite a bit was the never ending refills of milkshakes at the Whispering Canyon Cafe. Their appitizers are awesome also. I personally never tried the Boma and will since I believe that the Whispering Canyon Cafe is one of the better resturaunts at Disney.
