Next year we are trying to plan a trip where we will kind of go all out and for my dad that means food. He wants to eat at WCC but I heard that they changed the menu & it went for the worse. Has anyone eaten here recently? Should we book for somewhere else if we do?

lunch is menu only, and dinner is skillets only . it all depends on how much you want to eat/spend. I now go there for breakfast because nothing else appeals to my friends and I during the other meal service times

The food hasn't really changed...just the times you can get the food.

Dinner is skillet only. That is all you can order at dinner. You get no choices. Skillet or skillet. That's your choice.

Lunch has the a la carte stuff. But no skillet.

So, if two or three folks want skillet and one doesn't, some compromises will be necessary.

I think it will improve food quality. WCC has been on a down-slide for years. It was extremely hit-or-miss. I think that now they'll be concentrating on less, so it will get better. We shall see.

We ate here sept 24th, a few days after the menu change for dinner. It was skillet only and you have a choice of 5 meats(you can pick different co binational for your refills), we chose Ribs, chicken and fish then tried the beef brisket and sausage All were yummy.. The desserts were a jalapeño cheesecake (in the mason jar), a American cake (chocolate, white cake and strawberry? with pomegranate ) and cranberry cake with ice cream.. All very good as well.. I was disappointed in the service, we were sat by the door to the kitchen and had no view or interaction of any of the fun in the main dining room..

There was no spicy taste to the cheesecake at all.. I was very suprised at how good it was! Two things I really didn't think belonged together!

OK - let's back up for a second :). First, Sandy & I LOVE WCC - we have breakfast there at least 16 days a year, and often, lunch two or three times....

But I focused on your desire to "go all out" for food. While I love WCC, it SOUNDS like you should be hitting the Signature Restaurants for dinner. That would be "all out" :) (I think? - Could have misunderstood you). It's hard to go wrong with ANY of these - though for us (opinion), the real Sigs do not include LeCelier or Bistro de Paris. Any of the remaining REAL Sigs will knock Dad's socks off :).
I'm not dissing WCC! I didn't mean like the real sigs but getting the dining plan and forcing us to go to different places to eat that we wouldn't usually. Any suggestions?
