Don't go into this expecting that your server will do anything with you. Go into it expecting to eat, like any other restaurant.

Not every table is made the center of attention. Not every server is being wacky. As others stated, it IS random. If you go into expecting anything more than food, you may end up disappointed.

Usually, something funny will happend during every meal, but your table may be spectators who aren't involved in any way.

Sometimes when you ask for ketchup, they just bring it to you with no fanfare.

I'm not trying to bring you down. It's just that so many people complain or mention on the boards that they're disappointed because they went and their server did nothing.

Expect a normal meal and be happy if you happen to get extras. That's my advice!

Our server wasn't really into the antics. But that wasn't a big deal to us.

It is pretty random and will depend on the server. There is no real script or "if then" statements they go by. The staff acts in a manner that I would describe as "politely rude". Typically if they see you in gear from another park they will make a comment. If you ask for something special or change your mind, expect some flack. If you try to get them to embarrass your kid on his/her birthday they might comply or they might have you riding around the restaurant on a wooden horse for attempting to embarrass such a sweet little angel.

The best advice I can give is just relax and go with it. Don't try to force it. Oh, and if you are there for breakfast ask for MT. She ain't quick, but she is a hoot.

MT is AWESOME. We go only when she is working.

We're staying at the WL in 10 days time and have severals ADR's here, we just want to eat a meal without any fuss, I guess we just let the server know this?

I have heard breakfast is a lot more tame than lunch and dinner and if you eat dinner at off hours, like 7pm or later it can be quiet but not the night we were there.

So true. My wife and I just went on our anniversary trip and I booked this eatery because I knew she would get ketchup with breakfast and ask for a pepsi. Well, she did and nothing happened. It turned out to be an overpriced breakfast that was not very good. I hate to say it, but my expectations were much higher. I did get a good laugh at the other tables having fun. Oh well, I tried and its crossed off the list of things to do now.

When we were there, a man and his family were being walked to their table and he was talking on his cell phone. A waiter yelled, "Everybody QUIET! He's on the PHONE!" The place fell silent. The waiter stood there looking at him with his arms crossed, tapping his foot. It was hilarious. The guy looked around and saw everyone was staring at him. The guy didn't even say goodbye, he just put the phone in his pocket and sat down. The waiter said "Alrighty then, resume conversations!" It was a great laugh for everyone.

This is hilarious! I had no idea this restaurant did anything like this. We are staying at WL for the first time in November, and I just booked a lunch & a dinner for us on our off days from the parks. I figured we might just want to eat casual around the resort. If I hadn't read this post, I would have had no clue about anything. And DH always asks for ketchup, so we would have been hugely surprised if something happened!

I wonder what happens if you go there with your wedding party the night before your wedding... I HATE being the center of attention!

lunch is super quiet because they only do their antics during breakfast and dinner

Perhaps we should let the server who helped us two weeks ago at lunch know this policy because they did not get the memo and we had a great time. Especially with my huge refill and giant straw.

We had our rehearsal dinner there years ago. We had a blast. There was a couple next to us on there honeymoon & they made us have a kissing contest against them. Husband and i renewed our vows there in feb. and had lunch there after. They kept calling me a real life princess and him my prince charming. Then they tied a bunch of napkins together to make a giant bib and put it around my neck, and put a table cloth on my lap and over the bottom of my dress and tied it around the back of the chair to keep my dress clean. Any time new people were seated we were pointed out and they told them i was a princess and he my prince charming. I LOVE THIS PLACE

I wouldn't go in there with a checklist of things you want to have happen. The servers don't particularly like it when guests try to bait them with specific lines to get the best show. Just go, have fun, and let whatever happens, happen.
