Which week in January? Help me decide.

Planning a trip for sometime in January in anticipation of Stay Plan and Dine. Have done the week around MLK before and want to avoid that weekend for this trip. I am looking at January 20-27 or January 27-February 3. Was looking at Touring Plans and there are only slight variations in crowd anticipation between the two weeks with the latter being in the 2-4 range while the week prior is in the 3-5 range. Any thoughts? Does it really matter?

Second, is it better to book now and modify when the special comes out or just wait? Thanks so much!!!

If I were in your shoes, I'd book the 1/27-2/3 dates just because I'd want to have a better chance of marathon/MLK crowds thinning out. Also, I would book now and modify later to ensure I'd have something.
