For ambiance and great memories, the Emporium is #1, but for all in one shopping, World of Disney at DTD. For cool clothing and really nice stuff, Mouse Gear and the big shop on Sunset Blvd. in the studios, sorry I don't remember the name? Depends on what you are looking for.

I always forget how much I enjoy "Sir Mickey's" In Fantasyland. It's not too crowded but it's got a surprisingly nice selection for adults.

All you goodie two shoes... give me Villains in Vogue any day.
I liked Villains back when they were really pushing the Villains merch. Now, it's half Villains and usually half Nightmare Before Christmas or something else. With the new Malificent movie in the works, maybe they'll bring more of the Villains stuff back out.

For a specific gift shop, I like walking through the Emporium, but overall I tend to do more shopping in Epcot. I love going through all of the shops in World Showcase, and I feel like I can find most gifts for family at home there.

Tip Top Club- I completely agree. I always love the merchandise at AK. I always feel like their smaller shops actually have more.

It's just that nothing beats the feeling of being on Mainstreet in the Emporium to me. (except when there is a parade and that place is a mad house.) lol
