We cut through the parks. Head to Space Mtn beause it usually has the longest lines, then zigzag all throughout the lands. We don't stay in one for too long. But we will be back as we backtrack through to go somewhere else.

I find that to be interesting because the topic of which way to go to not go the same way as other people always comes up in conversation on our Disney trips. Good to know that most people go to Tomorrowland. I wonder if it is because culturally Americans tend stay to the right so naturally they just go that way or if it is because of Space Mountain. I guess it is probably a little of both.

If I remember correctly, that is exactly what our guide said.

It's really going to depend on why I am there. I never spend all day in one park, so it's just depending on where I want to go first. I don't have a preference for any, I may go left, right, or straight through to Fantasyland.

Always head to Splash first, get a fastpass then ride, go on Big Thunder then the FP is usually ready for use.

The main reason is the heat is unbearable in the afternoon for those outdoor queues, i'll happily stand in Space Mountain's nice air conditioned queue for an hour .

We always head towards Pirates and then work our way around the park. We do not like criss-crossing the park as it wastes too much time.

To the right!

All others have said, we Americans tend to fill to the right first, so many people will file into Tommorrowland. That said, Fantasyland is so popular with young kids that it also fills up quickly. We tend to head to the left and do Adventureland and Frontierland, knowing that we will have to get Fastpasses for things we will get to later in Fantasyland and Tomorrowland. Sometimes we send someone in the group with all of our tickets to get Fastpasses elsewhere.

When I took the Keys to the Kingdom tour a few years ago our guide pulled the tour group over to the side of Main Street to watch the direction in which people go as soon as the MK opened. 98.99999% of people went right into Tomorrowland. I used to do that as well, now I make it a point to go to the left into Adventureland to miss all the crowds.

We took the same tour and witness the same. We always go the Adventureland first based upon numerous threads and personal experience
of countless visits.

It really depends on what we want to ride first, but I'll say normally we go straight to Liberty Square and check out HM and get in the standby line. Then the hit the bathroom that everyone here says is going to get demolished. Then I guess it's clockwise because my daughter and I have a tradition of doing the teacups. The rest is whatever we decide on at the moment. MK is normally a park we hit at least three times in a trip so we aren't rushed to do anything in particular.

With two boys (DS7 and DS4), we head straight to Peter Pan first thing in the morning and complete Fantasyland, then Tomoorowland Speedway onto Tomorrowland. Our 2nd day at MK, starts with the train ride to Frontierland, then onto BTMRR/Splash and TSI, then onto Adventureland.
The Magic Kingdom is too big for one day with little boys.:)

Before we had children DW and I would go either way depending on which ride we wanted to go on first. Now that we go with our children we go straight to Fantasyland.

MK - Go to ride and get FP for SpaceM - putz around on a ride or two heading back towards the hub and heading over towards the other mountains (usually getting the first PoTC ride of the day). Get to other mountains in time to grab a SplashM FP, ride BTMRR, and then make my way over towards HM and Fantasyland. From here we work the park based on when/what we want for our next FP. Holding onto FPs that we have for when we need them, not necessarily the time on the ticket. We don't rush, just make sure to be near a FP we want when we can get the next one.

Other parks are enjoyed in a similar fashion. Maximizing FPs and avoiding the temptation to just go from one ride to the next along a path, knowing we'll be back by there again later and hit it at that time.

Now we have DD, we have 2 ways depending on time of things opening,
1 - would be to go to Fantasyland first then left into frontierland, round to Adventureland, past the castle into tomorrowland then to Toontown when it was there.
2 - would be Fantasyland first then to Toontown to meet the princess, back through Fantasyland to frontierland, advetureland then finaly tomorrowland.

I'm tired just mapping the routes out in my head!!

We always start off in Adventureland and make our way around the park from there with lunch usually ending up at Pecos Bill or Columbia Harbor House. It's just become out tradition and we usually can get in every attraction we'd like with time to spare!

We used to always go thru Tommorowland but this last time we knew we'd see bigger crowds so we went to Frontierland to snag some fast passes first thing

Awesome thread, btw.

We always go right to the back, HM, and either go right or left. usually left towards BTTMR, because we tend to notice the "typical" crowds go counter clockwise. Just my personal observation after being there so many times.
